i cant help but cry everytime i see the live performance not only because of the lyrics and meaning of the song but because of how proud i am of them, they truly went from being the lonely whale to being the biggest group in the world. Now army's worldwide are listening to their songs, they truly made the lyric 'an endless signal will reach someday, even to the other side of the world' come true.

A small music group from Korea is now known all the way here in the US, as well as around the World. This is a beautiful touching, but often unknown, song. 2021-06-23 13:02:17 +0000 UTCJust to let you know I had Arnie on my lap at the begining, (had very little of way of seeing this video cos he took entire part of my chest/head area to be affectionate rubbing all that, at the same time he was watching you guys. was scared that he would 'pounce' on the screen when you showed your googling with the mouse curser that is like a bright yellow ball... I'm like 'oh no not that again' lol, earlier I had to use the flash light to see outside to clean his litter boxes, and Arnie loves to chase the light dot almost became obsessive to it...Lucikly he calmed down when there's no more yellow dot on your video lol

2021-06-23 03:18:44 +0000 UTCI remember watching a fancam of TaeHyung during one of the live performances of this and he was crying. This song really means so much to them. During RM’s performance of Reflection during the Wings Tour there was a large whale projected on the screen. It’s become such a symbol of how BTS sang their song and ARMY heard their voice. Also how BTS hears the voice of the generation and gives them a voice through their music. The whales in “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal” MV and the Tiny Tan video “Dream On” just shows how much it still means to us and to them. 💜 Great reaction!

To me, personally, I love the line " and endless signal will reach someday, everywhere even to the other side of the earth" 'cause it reminds me of RM's speech in one of their concerts in Brazil, he said beautiful words along the lines of how BTS being able to perform in Brazil (which is literaly the other side of the earth from korea, exactly 12 hours apart) was a testimony to how far they've come.

2021-06-23 02:49:08 +0000 UTCTo me this relates to how even in their own country there were times that they were alienated(whale+ alien= whalien) as a group because they had a small voice at the start (coming from a small agency) and it was difficult to get their unique hertz(music) across so that it can be heard. But now, they have reached the other side of the world by continuing to make music that millions of fans can hear clearly. 🥲
