Their FIRST TIME Eating Korean Fried Chicken!!

Comments

I might get snipped for this but I actually like Korean Fried chicken more than southern fried chicken-I think Korean fried chicken is more flavourful, like you can actually taste the flavours rather than getting bogged down in the fried part (if that makes any sense)

Lol LOVE the title ๐Ÿคฃ

WhatchaGot2Say

Itโ€™s the โ€œEat NiBlAjjโ€ show. You guys are so fun!

Manny

I loved that! I wish I was having chicken with you guys. Itโ€™s awesome that you are taking to heart so much Korean culture and food. Thank you for making us a part of your family. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ˜Š

Since you like korean fried chicken, I highly recommend a place in Frisco called Rice Chicken. It's the best KFC I've had so far.

Fried chicken and tteokkbokki have been my favorite foods for about as long as I can remember. As a little girl in Korea, I grew up with Korean fried chicken, with the mu radish side dish, and the side dip of salt and pepper, and I LOVED IT. When I moved to the US, I was horribly disappointed with the soggy fried chicken chains, and their lack of mu (or other refreshing pickled radish counterparts). Now, I've gotten used to it, Popeye's is good, and coleslaw is an acceptable alternative. I've had Korean fried chicken from different places in the US, some are decent, coming close to what I remember in Korea. But I still miss the real thing. ^^

It was called Mililani BBQ in Mililani on Oahu. It was AHmazing! and there was this SUPER cute and super delish Boba cafe next to it too ๐Ÿ˜†

Ooh what island and what was the name of the restaurant?

RWBYfan6788

When I went to Hawaii we went to a Korean restaurant that had some LEGIT mandu, like the kind V and Jimin would have totally fought over...oh it was GooooD and it was huge, we only got 3 but that was plenty, and yea if you haven't tried Bonchon, you gotta do it.

D'Alice Craig

Bonchon is LIFE!!! We have it here in Seattle too!

D'Alice Craig

It has a nice kick to it

Marie Davis

Yeah the chicken and bulgogi as well as the kimichi coleslaw is good

Marie Davis

Hmmm kimchi coleslaw you say ๐Ÿค” I donโ€™t like regular coleslaw at all but something tells me I might actually like the kimchi version.

WhatchaGot2Say

What other korean foods have you tried? I think they have bonchon out in Texas. They have chicken wings that are pretty good!

Sarah Ramirez

LOL - Nico, you're so salty.. Love it We have an amazing local Korean place that make AMAZING boneless Korean Fried Chicken. We order it a lot. You guys are CRACKHEADS.. Omg, so entertaining.

Kalkeegan

Korean fried chicken is sooooo good. I also have had the green grape soju. Love soju it's not that much alcohol content and it goes down smooth. Haven't had kimichi mayo but I did have kimichi coleslaw and it was good.

Marie Davis

Korean fried chicken with a grape drink I love it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ also... Nico threw the plates and napkins and I had to rewind ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Like Vavi T said up there, it's so awesome to see so many people getting into Korean culture through their love of BTS. Food, music, art, all of it. Example: I was recently down in Louisville visiting friends & one night we got delivery from a Korean place. As we were waiting for it to arrive, my friend puts on a Korean food blogger channel she watches, and in a moment I realized... There we were: four white chicks, all 40+ years old (some of us ::cough50+cough::...), in the middle of Kentucky, watching Korean cooking shows (going "oooh" and "omg, that looks amazing" and "wait, did she say This or That?" every 12 seconds so we could get the recipe right, lol) while we're waiting for our delicious Korean food to arrive. Yep, yep... I'd definitely say BTS has had a global cultural impact at a level perhaps never seen before... ;)

I love watching people GRUB on some good food. ๐Ÿ˜‹I'm with Blaze , after some good food a nap is in order. Great minds think alike we had Korean spicey fried chicken and Korean fried rice with bulgogi today. Cant' wait for the next Run BTS ep. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
