Yea them not being able to replace RM's passport is so heartbreaking. Makes me sad to see that every time I watch it, but i'm also happy that he was able to get travel docs to still take the cruise.

That all makes perfect sense. They need to protect themselves, their privacy and each other. If one of the members got distracted with taking photos and got separated, that could be a security risk. However, I will say I was genuinely touched by the guys reaction to meeting people in public. They were quick to talk, shake hands and they seemed so happy to have met fans. So, even though they can't take pictures, they weren't rude or disrespectful. I doubt they even have that luxury now. I'm guessing they can't even really stop and talk to people these, again a security risk.

I knew RM lost his passport and wasn't able to finish the trip, but I had never seen it happen. I think the guys are joking around, but they look like they are fighting back tears. RM is their leader, I can only imagine how bad they all felt for him. Poor RM! And MIKA.... You are precious! I've primarily seen AJ and Blaze with Nico. I'm really enjoying your commentary. We must be similar, because I'll be thinking something, then you'll say it. Ha!

Recently a Korean patent official discussed Bit Hit (now HYBE) Intellectual Property and Trademark Strategy. He said HYBE have 505 trademarks out of 531 applied for BTS and ARMY (should be global under the Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks). Few months ago, there was a big hoopla when a Korean Nail Cosmetic Company tried to trademark "I Purple You." The Korean Patent Office received flurries of evidence of how V coined this term and it is meant for BTS and ARMY and after all the controversy, that Cosmetic Company withdrew the trademark application. Even non-ARMY said they knew what "I Purple You" means for BTS and ARMY. HYBE applied for trademark for "I Purple You" and I believe it got approved this summer.

I love the concept of Bon Voyage, and the fact that they are given a budget, and left on their own to find their way. Most of the time, they are on the road, working, surrounded by screaming fans. These trips keep them grounded and teach them some life skills, not to mention they are having a lot of fun too.

Great reaction as always, this is my least favorite Bon Voyage just because RM had to leave them and V was by himself on like almost half of the show! I can't wait till you guys react to the one where they were in Hawaii, that was my favorite!

If I remember correctly, there were a few fans that would not leave the restaurant alone. Like yeah your idols are there but it's p clear they're off the clock, and you should leave them alone. Is it really worth making them uncomfortable for the sake of a far away picture of them? You're also making the rest of the patrons uncomfortable by hovering around their lunch! I don't understand these types of fans.

Jimin does get shy sometimes 😂 but he's definitely not on stage. They have said it before in an interview. Unfortunately namjoon won't be able to make it for the rest of the trip. Don't worry season 2 will have all of them together. It's really cute tho if you notice they all cheers with a beer in there hands then a few minutes a staff gives tae a soda instead. Tae doesn't really like to drink beer but now he does like to drink wine or fruity soju.😊

"Important business-eu" is iconic. Although it was sort of impromptu, I'm sure the members were given a business lecture at some point of their career prior to their going abroad (way before this trip) and encountering media/fans (they did encounter fans when they disembarked at LAX to shoot 'American Hustle Life'). The point is it probably wasn't related to their vacation, more to the fact that they need to keep control of their brand. BTS/Big Hit disseminates numerous content, but essentially that content belongs to them. If its 'fancam', you have to say so. Otherwise, the content belongs to them and the revenue thereof. The disclaimer in front of this video reminds everyone of that. "Important business-eu" indeed.

I'm telling you, Hobi likes to curate memories of the members, whether they be the full group or in units, when they're offstage in these moments. I love it! Jimin, on the other hand, sneakily captures those moments you'd rather forget and you wonder how he got that photo (cue: throttling your sibling!)

"Important business" has finally entered the chat, lol. Nico I heard you are not the king of air hockey, lol. With regards to RM. He is leaving. To clear things up, if you remember in the 1st they told them they were going to 3 countries. They mention here that the cruise is taking them from Sweden to Finland. Since RM lost his passport he can't go from one country to another. The traveling papers only allow for him to go home. The staff tried since obviously they had booked the tickets already and it was an accident, but it didn't work out. The guys joke around a lot when upset on camera so I can see why it was confusing but expect reactions like this to happen again. As for the photo shoot memories, there is video of that. Its called NOW 2. They went in 2014 specifically to do photoshoots. And they've been back since this Bon Voyage yet again. This 3rd time was when Jungkook did GCF.

- pony dance - during Psy's Gangnam Style, that popularized dance is called the pony dance, as it mimics a galloping horse and rider (just as a personal note, I HATE that song, and that dance - no shade to Psy, nor to the people who loved it, but as a Korean American, I found it horribly cringey and demeaning to see westerners see THAT and think that is what Korean people are - clowns in ridiculous clothes, dancing in overly exaggerated ways for people to point and laugh (yes, I was a bit touchy in my 30s - had my fill of condescending, passively racist, and fetishist behavior at that point) - and it is also the traumatic period in time when I saw my 50 year old mother, and all her middle aged friends, dance and prance about like ponies in public - it was horrible xD) - Mika - those polaroid pictures are from Jin's camera, which is a FujiFilm Instax Mini instant camera, he has it in pink (I found those polaroids cute and was considering buying myself that camera, too, so I looked it up, and they're available on Amazon - then covid happened, and I didn't really need a camera much any more - but I thought it'd be nice to have one of those, and go on a trip somewhere, taking pictures and making a collage of the trip to frame and hang on the wall afterwards)

With v and jin, are you referring to the argument they had in burn the stage? Because that was filmed about a year after this. BV season 1 was filmed in 2016 and Burn the Stage was filmed during the wings tour in 2017.

I always get anxious when they keep losing stuff LOL. But I guess it's part of their jorney to have normal experiences and not be helped by the staff all the time. At this point they have played so many pranks that JK seemed more interested in continue enjoying his delicious food than playing another one, I don't blame him LOL

Hey guys, dinner for me was Hawaiian BBQ. I'm so glad I can watch this with you guys. It's so much more fun like this. It's always hard to watch them struggle, like with Jimin in the suitcase or Namjoon with his passport, but I try to think of it as growing experiences. And the staff did their best. She apologized to Namjoon for not being able to fix the problem for him. The other memebers were bummed to, but there were other trips. JK babies Jimin too so that hidden camera was so not going to happen LOL. Tae is such a kid himself, so sweet and he loves kids. It makes me so happy to watch him play lol! I can't wait for the next episode with you guys. Oh and Namjoon has always shown Army so much love. We are still getting proof of that. Butterhae!

BTS members aren’t really supposed to take pictures with fans they meet while they’re out. It’s happened on a few occasions, but very, very few. This can sometimes be a rule that idols are asked to follow for a multitude of reasons. If the fan uploads the picture, the location of the idol can be exposed. It could also be a security risk. The idol could be filming something there that the company doesn’t want known by the public yet. Unfortunately, pictures can also be misinterpreted. Some fans are not the most rational sometimes, and if pictures were released of male idols with female fans, it could potentially cause an issue for several different reasons. You’ll often see the members be asked for photos and they always turn the person down. Then they may comment how they always feel bad or aren’t allowed. It just is what it is.

About the pictures, the thing is, when they record Bon Voyage, they want to keep the location a secret (to surprise us, making us wonder what place in the world did the guys travel to) and also because if they take pictures and people post it online soon fans may run to the location and the situation gets out of control. Even back when this was filmed they were already popular and some people did follow them around, which can compromise the whole purpose of the show, which is having them traveling around like normal guys in their 20's. Jhope came up with "important business" and you'll see them using this a lot on Bon Voyage series.
