Three of our best ever sitcoms are set in one or two locations; The Royale Family, this, and Dinnerladies (which is entirely one factory canteen/kitchen set for the whole thing). And one of my favourite episodes of Porridge which is just the two of them in their cell for the whole thing. It's a mark of great writing because it has to run so much of strong dialogue. All three are working class comedies as well, which is stuff the UK does very well.

2022-01-19 15:13:39 +0000 UTCCar Share probably my favourite thing Peter has ever done. Such a simple concept and yet his real life friendship with Sian Gibson makes it so addictive. The last couple of minutes of this ep is hysterical.
