BTS - Burn The Stage Ep. 6 REACTION (WATCH LINK IN DESCRIPTION)

Comments

Aww, Nico when you started to tear up, you made me tear up too. That was definitely a touching moment how RM put the concert before his pain/injury, even though no one would've held it against him to sit out those two songs. But they always want to give ARMY their absolute best, and he handled the situation with so much grace. You would've never thought something was wrong. He's such a great leader, and I loved a lot of the insights he shared here, especially about how he doesn't want to have an air of mystery as an entertainer but instead wants to be open and honest with ARMY because he likes having that communication with us and likes sharing his stories. This has seriously been such an amazing docu-series. I'm sad there's only 2 episodes left, but at least Bring the Soul's next! :D

Lily

Celebrate your success, but don't lose yourself in it. Well said Blaze.

Debra West

So what Blaze is saying is BTS PAVED THE WAY πŸ’œ

Carrie ARMY

as always, it was both hard and endearing to see joon go up on that stage with his foot like that... i know that the members will perform unless they are physically unable to perform, like straight up immobilized... and even then, yoongi performed when he could barely raise his left arm throughout the yrs. honestly they are natural born performers.

jeanbee

~ This is terribly LONG. To get the point without reading this novel start from the * and end at the πŸ™πŸ’œ. Lol~ I'm really late on this, but Ddaeng Blaze got Bars. Maybe that should be your new nickname BGB. LOL I just wanted to say I understand exactly what RM was, and other members as well, go through performing while hurt. First the scary part is it can & often does make the injury worse. Look at Sugar who finally had to get shoulder surgery. God bless him I m glad he's healing well. My momma had shoulder surgery and she said it hurt worse than her open heart surgery. Yikes. I once had a job for a certain well known beauty pageant, at the state level not America, dancing with 5 others during the times the contestants had to change etc. We only had 4 (or 5?) days to learn around 6 routines. Not a lot. On the 3rd day of practice they gave brand new 2 1/2" heal shoes to use. I did everything I could think of, but I couldn't get them broken in completely without possibly destroying the outer appearance. So my feet before the dress rehearsal and performance were a bloody mess. I had them bandaged and taped (which they should have done for RM) as best I could, but again it couldn't show over the show. *The point I m getting to is that off stage, waiting for our cue to go on, I'm gritting my teeth in pain thinking no way can I do this. Once I got on stage and I heard the music & audience applause my pain was gone. Adrenaline can ofter take over & hypes you up so much that you won't feel it. Of course, then your part is over. Once I got to the dressing room and peeled off my shoes I thought I wouldn't be able to walk, but I had 5 more parts scattered through the next hour and 45 minutes. yay.😒 But you get through and take care of it when you're done. That's what a good performer has to do. As one of my dance instructors would always say, "The show must go on! If you loose a shoes keep dancing. If your costume falls of. Keep..." The last one he was joking about, but you get it. BTS are great performers and refuse to disappoint ARMY. I don't want to see them perform hurt, and think they're not doing well enough because they have to sit, but I understand their dedication. Sorry I wrote a novel. Be glad I am Not a YouTuber. That would have been a waste of an hour of your time. Lol. Please everyone be careful, be strong, pamper yourselves, be well and God bless you all.πŸ™πŸ’œ πŸ’ƒπŸ‘―πŸ‘ πŸ‘£πŸ€• owee.😊 This all happened around 30 years ago. So my feet work great now. My toes are a little crooked from stuffing them in pointe shoes for ballet, but all good. Lol.

Michelle Tetzke

I love the pure joy that you guys bring to your reactions. It echoes and reflects how I'm sure a lot of ARMY feel, but certainly how I feel, when I watch our boys. Thank you as always, you guys are really my favourite reactors when it comes to the authentic-ness of how you feel and your thoughts.

Macchiato

It's so interesting hearing the American reporters' musings on KPop being a manufactured industry when a lot of the American pop industry is the exact same, like a lot of pop artists don't write their own songs.

Akizato

when you're done with this, can you do bon voyage next??

Angie

You still have a lot of gems to discover, keep digging beneath the surface. Enjoy the journey.

Svjetli xoxo

Good looking out. At first I didn't catch what they were saying but that moment captivated me so much that I looked up the song Reflection off camera. I have been listening to it pretty heavy ever since. I am surprised that I don't hear more about this song. It's so impactful!

WhatchaGot2Say

I am not sure if you caught it or not, but in the part after Namjoon went back on stage after he was in pain, they played the audio from his Reflection performance. The song ends with Namjoon repeating "I wish I could love myself" and the ARMY chants "saranghae" in response meaning - I/we love you. That is not part of the song itself. I don't think I saw you react to the song. If that's the case, I would recommend you do. He really is very vaulnerable in the writing, and in my opinion, this song feels like the begining of mono. Melodically and emotionally. Thank you for your reactions.

Svjetli xoxo

I got to see them on their last tour. I was new to BTS when I went and it was one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen (I'm 55 and I've seen a ton). I was pretty shocked when they all talked about how they felt about being there. It was so humble and surprising and warm. The audience is so hyped, the effects are amazing, and the performances blew my mind. And then Jungkook flew around the stadium! I wasn't expecting it at all.

Agree completely with this πŸ€“πŸ’―

Yep πŸ€“

WhatchaGot2Say

Yessss!!! πŸ€“πŸ’œ

WhatchaGot2Say

I am hoping so much that you get to go to a BTS concert FAM. And I agree that BTS having the courage to show us their vulnerability is one of the main reasons I too am loyal to them. It really shows me who they are and I feel I can trust them which makes it easier to let those guards down.

WhatchaGot2Say

Very interesting and wouldn’t have had any idea about that so thank you for sharing πŸ€“

WhatchaGot2Say

Thank you FAM πŸ€“πŸ˜¬

I really looooved this episode!Watch your reactions and reading all this comments fells like being with friends sharing this love and respect for BTS. Greetings from PerΓΊ!

AnghieHB

So true!

AnghieHB

I love this episode! Yoongi reassuring Jimin is one of my favorite parts. He is still trying to get Jimin to rap too. Namjoon being in pain and still being the last one of the stage because he loves Army so is one of my favorite scenes. They are all such amazing people, trying to use their talents for all the right reasons. Is it any wonder they are world wide now?

Rae Avilez

Super agree on this, also being an older person (30) who is purely a BTS fan. I don't have time for other Kpop stuff haha!

Akizato

I love watching your reactions because I relate so much to your opinions. I actually bought a selfie stick because of them as well. I find myself doing many little things because of them. I play their music in the drive thru, when I am in a group meeting for wk and it hasn't started I play their music. I wait for an opening of, "what are you playing?" and then I say, "as a matter of fact let me tell you about BTS." Being in a fandom that is so diverse I feel like when you are an older ARMY and you decide you are going to ride with them we go all in. I don't know why it is, but so many older ARMY aren't always Kpop people or multis, but we are BTS people. There should be a case study on it.

Esperanza1111tx

Oh I hope you can watch a concert soon! (As we all do...lol) And I hope you can get your jacket, Blaze- take a picture with a selfie stick!

Chimming

Hey guys, I just came across this video on YT, you should check it out. https://youtu.be/Uaj1X76h2mQ Sending you love and light 🌻

Cynthia Serra Neves

I love hearing y’all’s thoughts and comments on things! But I also love how you make me laugh πŸ˜‚

Bangtan is life

Things move sooo quickly in the docuseries and the documentary movies so you really must catch the beginning subtitles of each new scene or you'll be really confused. you followed this one much easier than the last episode but it'd still really help you with understanding if you don't talk over any subtitles, even if it's a voiceover that's happening. also if there is no talking you should still watch closely because they often lead into the next part of the episode through a clip without any speaking and you need to have been watching to understand what's happening. it's pretty confusing how quick it all goes during the episode but i assume it's been edited like that to save time and make it intense.

essi

These docs just make me appreciate them more every time I see them cause they do what they do no matter if cameras are rolling or not. Bless themπŸ’œ

Katie B

yes! you did see that clip before nico, i dont remember what video it is but i think it was in a compilation video ^^

smol

Thanks for this, Guys. I watch and re-watch these documentaries just to watch their responses to what's happening to them, and how they grow from the experience. Makes me love them even more. BTW, for another interesting take on the concerts, check out videos on their manager, Seijin. He goes everywhere with them. (He's the one carrying JK on his back after JK's injury.) Love as always!

LibLady26

Love from the philippines!!!! πŸ’œ

Blu z

I loved your reactions! It’s always so fun to watch these with you guys! πŸ’œ Honestly, one of my favorite parts about BTS is their views on their fame and how they set their priorities. They deserve all the good things! And so do you guys! Thanks for this! πŸ’œ

Abby Potter

I want to go to a concert and sit with you guys! You will be awesome ARMY to attend with!

GigiCrews

I’m pretty sure the ramen scene is also in the BTS is a Family compilation you watched with Mika. It’s always cute when JK and Jin interact this way because when JK first moved to Seoul and was still a super young kid, Jin took care of him and made sure he had food. So for JK to get Jin food is cute payback, and then for him to prank Jin by putting chocolate balls in it is just hilarious.

Violetsblue

I'm having a great moment watching this episode again with you guys. Really appreciate with your effort and time on watching this series. Love you guys. I can feel the same way what you guys felt when watching this episode especially the part where RM had to hide his pain. I cried. Anyway can't wait to watch the last 2 episodes. Hoping to see your reaction to 4 O clock song with the lyrics.

Fazrin Jumat

Loved the freestyle at the end!! And this reaction was great as always! The footage from the selfie sticks during the last performance were actually used as a surprise gift for ARMY during FESTA 2017. This holds such a special place in my heart because I was standing near the barricades at this concert! You can view it on BANGTANTV here: https://youtu.be/E4vqtUCqLsM I'll never forget this concert because it was the first concert they had after winning at the Billboard awards and everyone was in high spirits!! It's a shame they haven't returned to Australia since :')

Nira

When Suga says he's more worried that they will stop enjoying this...that's the feeling behind Black Swan.

Regina Marie E

I can totally see Yoongi going around now like "we're Grammy nominated singers teehee" 🀣 Also, y'all gotta see the fancam when Joon performs Reflection and sings "I wish I could love myself" and fans chant back "we love you", which has him so overwhelmed he changes the lyrics to "yes I do love myself".. I feel like that was definitely a steppingstone in the process of making the LY series, cuz Jimin also learned a lot about himself and how to not judge himself too harshly like he always used to. You can literally see their process of what music comes next. Same as with Yoongi talking about that whole what if being at the top isn't everything or I don't like it anymore - literally what he talks about in Shadow and what Black Swan had at its core. Their music really is their soul and what they go through, which is why I always encourage to listen to the entire discography in order and albums from top to bottom (Joon encourages that too btw) to really FEEL what they're trying to say and if you watch their journey you can also SEE it.

Katie

hearing that fanchant for namjoon gives me serious goosbumps. army really came through for our leader.

ashlyn v

Good job! You worked hardπŸ’œ

Denise Riverin

I'll surely watch this when I get off work. This will definitely complete my Sunday. Thanks FAM! 😎

Iris

Thank you Nico for this episode. You cannot help but love BTS. RM went out and performed like a true leader even though he was in pain.πŸ’œ

Carlethia Street

Thank you so much FAM πŸ€“πŸ™πŸΌ

WhatchaGot2Say

Enjoyed your reaction as always. I've seen this series before, but it's always fun to watch it again with other ARMY who love and appreciate them as much as I do. RM touched on the subject that people had advised him to keep up the Idol persona and leave some mystery to the fans, but I truly believe that the fact that they show us so much behind the scenes content and that we get to see them being vulnerable, is what makes the fandom as large and loyal as we are. Yes, their music, dance and performance is outstanding, but we also feel super invested in them as people and will do anything to help them reach their goals as a result. I agree with you when you say you've never wanted to go to a concert more. I discovered BTS a couple of weeks after the last time they performed near me (in Canada). I am in my 60's and have been to a ton of great concerts over the years including Michael Jackson. Prince, Queen, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, John Cougar....the list goes on and on, but never have I wanted to go to a concert as much as a BTS concert. I may never get there due to health issues, but it's my dream.

Laurie Brennan

You can see the extent of RM's injury in the Burn The Stage movie. At least some what happened after he comes off stage. The movie shows a lot of stuff that was left out of the docuseries. He also put Moonchild in 4 o'clock however I would not be surprised if he hadn't started writing it. He said in his vlive for Mono that he spent like 3 years on some of those songs. He would start then stop so he could have already had it in mind.

Christina

Whenever I see Wings Philippines tour I just remember Tae and his grandma and get sad.

Karla24.wintaebear

Nico! I always love that shirt you got on here. Thanks for being awesome and staying great. Other reactors get weirdly cocky after awhile but y’all stay chill and goofy. Appreciate it.

Danni Lopez-Rogina

Loved your freestyle Blaze!!! Somehow hearing their deep feelings makes me emotional and want to give them a hug. Thank you for reaction to Burn the stage!!! Can't wait for the next one! Warm love from a very cold and finally snowy Netherlands, Audrey

Mama Mochi πŸ’œ

Thanks πŸ™ loved your reactions πŸ’œ

When this aired V was the Moon Child. His and RM’s song β€œ4 o’clock” used the phrase first. I guess they are both the moon children. RM liked the phrase he made so much he used it later for a whole song on his mix tape, but originally he wrote it for V. They both like that special kind of solitude you can only find alone at night.

Laura Moore

Hey fam, if you're planning to check out "4 o'clock" by V and RM, I would just like to suggest watching this short behind the scenes recording moment as well (eng subbed!), even if it's not on camera. I just really enjoy seeing their work process and hope you will too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqrfvk8_kjw

Having a blue night. Thanks for making me smile.

Laura Moore

Excited to watch when i get off work

Namjoon's foot injury was the result of him very badly stubbing his toe on some furniture. Loved this reaction from you guys and loved the episode. This makes my Saturday!

Marguerite Engel

This was my favorite episode out of the series when I first watched. I love how real all the members are with army, what they struggle with and their insecurities, as well as how hard they push themselves to give it their all. I really enjoyed rewatching with you both! Also, If you look closely, right before they announce the winner for the BBMA, RM crosses his fingers. Why is BTS so precious?!

SKim

actually guys the song was 4 o'clock lol so you already had a small spoiler

Kharys A

Thank you guys for the reactions, one if the best parts of my day.

LOLA MONTEZ

Love it. Want you guys to react to we are bulletproof live and pls more JIMIN!!!
