2021-02-11 06:05:25 +0000 UTCEven though I like all the songs on the album, "On" has to be my favorite because it was the first thing I saw on BTS. In fact, it was this exact video. I saw this and was like who are these guys? And they closed central station for them? They dont close it for just anyone. Then I saw Fire and Dope and that was the start of the rabbit hole for me. Then I saw RM's speach at the UN and thats when I knew I was full blown Army. And my other favorite is "Make it right". Plus its the only one my husband really likes because it was written by Ed Sheeran, but he's new to listening to them and he does respect them and what they have accomplished. Told him thats all i ask for, just respect them. My favorite part of the song is where Suga is rapping and JK (both my bias and bias wrecker) is harmonizing to his rap, who does that? I dont know of anyone else who does that. I loved this video and hope you do more like it. Thank you so much.

I wonder if people are just naturally born inclined to be sad and who feel more deeply and get depressed easily. Maybe hormones or whatever, I'm not a psychologist but anyway these songs just speak to my soul.

I was privileged to see Misha perform live, decades ago, and the sheer personality that he brought to the stage was overwhelming. And that's the vibe that I feel when Jimin dances. I could watch him all day long.

My take on Filter is that every filter, every color is another mask of his. He said, "Pick which me, that you want." Meaning none of them is his true self. That's the thing about it, right? You or that person for instance, doesn't want the flawed him. They do not wish to have the perfectly imperfect. They in fact want the polish version of him. Not just that, but they also reject themselves without their filters. So he said, take my hand, so I can show you a different world where this doesn't matter. Our broken , our imperfections is beautiful, which comes full circle as that is a line in Fly to my room. Anyway, that just my take on Filter, and I still agree with Blaze's take on it too.

I saw the Carpool Karaoke episode and was intrigued (maybe for the wrong reasons as it was Jin's "I don't know what he said, but let's laugh anyway" comment that made me want to see more - so funny!). The Kinetic Manifesto video popped up as a recommended video so I watched. I was stunned the entire time - nothing was what I expected and it was so good. Mic Drop was next and then I was down the proverbial rabbit hole. Now I'm here enjoying watching people discuss what they like about songs, lyrics, performances, etc. and seeing new aspects of BTS all the time. Good times!
