Drone Commander

Things are moving much faster...

This is just a scribble Canvas level (terrain not added properly yet)- but I want to show what i've done in the past 48 hours.

Drop ships now fully automated; I can fly them anywhere. No longer just a cutscene thing.
Sentry Mode for Drone - it has tons of upgrades you can unlock, the latest one is allowing it to move in front of you and tank damage with its shield
Burner Pods: remember that pod that Kaelix came in, i've now fully automated it so its not a cutscene any more. You can call in burner re-infrocements with some swat sisters. But so can they.
I've added a pipEvent window. It doesn't look much, but believe me it was insane to code; 4 hours of work. Whats really good news, is this will likely be one of the last hardest things i'll have to do in the game.
Pip window, allows you to see whats happening elsewhere in the battlefield without stopping you or panning camera away.
Drone Operator: I've done the code (took like 10 minutes lol) to bring Drone Operators onto the field. Not done the art for them yet tho, but Drone Operators will fly onto the battle field hanging onto a Drone as a kind of glider.
They are NPCs, but you'll need to protect em, sooo...
Quick_commands: when you have multiple allied teams, like Swat Sisters, SAS, Swat Bros, Vionites etc; you'll sometimes be able to command (or ask) them to do stuff. This can include:
- Take my flank/ left side/right side/ front
- Hold this position (e.g. to defend a drone operator)
- Attack that position.

Next up, Human Drone Strikes; i'll likely have that done before the weekend, but let me know how you'd like the first drone strike to look like.

E.G. It could be a top down view, of the drone camera, as it cruises to enemy, then circles appear around the target and ordinance hits them as they explode.

Or maybe the camera follows a suicide drone as it plows into a single target?
