I can find what I want but I have to know what I’m looking for. Like I can’t just find creators on Patreon I have to find them on other platforms and it’s really hard to see what content is available to people I don’t already support. Because I support you guys I know what and where everything is, but it might help to put something up for newer folks or make your Patreon easier to find, and easier to know what you have available, if you maybe made a YouTube video explaining it. I know of another of my favorite channel that does like a 30 second commercial of new things they add to Patreon each week. It’s really helpful, but I understand that’s a whole lot of extra editing on top of the extra editing you do for us here. Which, thank you for btw!! I don’t say it enough but I really love you guys and all you’re doing here. We may not see all the hard work, but know we appreciate it! 💜💜💜

Yes please! - I am a fairly new patron of only a month and the first thing I watched was American Hustle Life. It took me awhile to find Ep 8 because it doesn’t appear in the main playlist with the other episodes. Maybe the grouping just needs to be revamped?

I am a new patron and I am on a desktop. I have only watched a couple of series here so far, but I did struggle a bit to find all corresponding episodes of a series. I noticed you had a couple of playlists at the top with similar content together, but not for all series. I think grouping things into playlists would be the most helpful to me.

the only way to find things is either search a key word or use the tags, otherwise you have to scroll for 1 billion years to find what u want

Good point. Yeah looks like for a while I have related Patreon tagging to how we do on YouTube. Based on the feedback I'm getting from you guys I'm learning quite a bit about how users use tags here on Patreon. So clearing out a lot of these tags now. I've gotten us under 300 now...200 more to go lol

I find patreon itself difficult to navigate and it seems more like the old livejournals were you find everything through tags. I think effective tagging is the key, particularly when you are doing a series of related videos. Just looking through your tags, you have BTS REACTION, bts videos, REACT TO BTS, etc... They can be overwhelming to a new user, and useless clutter tbh. This is a BTS patreon, so I don't think these tags are needed. Perhaps you should treat patreon tags as bookmarks or chapters so that people can find certain content more easily?

I was putting tags under the posts here on Patreon like I would do for YouTube videos but I see that Patreon operates very differently. I’m starting to see what people are talking about. I didn’t realize that many people utilize the tags vs. the search bar.

I’ll work on clearing out some of the unnecessary tags. The great majority of them come from when I first started Patreon and tagged every video like I would do for YouTube videos. I learned over time that there wasn’t a need for that many tags since Patreon isn’t operating like a search engine to the capacity that YouTube is. I didn’t realize until reading some of these comments that people mostly used the tags vs. the search bar so that’s interesting. As I’m going through now to review a few posts I am noticing that I do have several tagged consistently but they are not showing up under the group they should be under...example Run BTS. Annoying 🤦🏽‍♂️ But I’m going to clear out a lot of these unnecessary tags to hopefully clear some things up and make videos a little easier to find 🤓

There is definitely an issue with the app, I’ve experienced the same with Charlie’s page. It’s not something on your end.

If the video is Singularity live performance then maybe #V #Live #Singularity instead of #v singularity reaction which is the current tag. Then people can click the tag #V and see all V videos, or #Live and watch all live videos. At the moment the tags are different for different videos so you either have to know exactly what you want to watch, or you have to search through all your videos. If that makes sense? I'm not sure how to explain sorry.😅 at the moment there are hundreds of different tags so it's hard to look through them

I think it is difficult to find content on here and I think a more concise tagging system would be more appropriate. For example, there are over 300 tags to scroll through if you're looking to filter through posts but aren't looking for any specific video. Also, maybe there could be some sort of masterlist of all content available on patreon so that we can look for specific videos in the search bar. Just some ideas, hope they help!

Yeah the mobile app is no good compared to the desktop version. So most people must be using that mobile app because when I get a message that someone can't locate a video and I find it quickly using my desktop browser I get confused as to what the issue was.

I'm sure "search posts" works, but it's very hard to find things if you're trying to use the tags (which I tend to gravitate to first, and I think a lot of other people do as well). the key to making tags effective and easy to use is to make the tags consistent on every post so that when you click a certain tag—like "Run BTS"—you get <i>all</i> the Run BTS reactions instead of just a few that have that tag, while others might instead have the "Run" tag or the "Run Reaction" tag, etc. I'm wondering if this is what some people might have meant. because of that, I don't really know how to vote. "yes" for tags making it hard, "no" for anything else.

I think the mobile the app is less developed than on desktop. It is for iOS anyway. So I’ve kinda just got used to using both even though navigating the mobile app is really tedious sometimes when you wanna find a specific video. I think patreon needs to update their mobile app and give it more structure.

I don't spend that much time in Patreon so I get kinda confused finding stuffs when I follow the link from your notifications on my email. And it keeps telling me to login even though I'm done logging in.

There may have been an issue with Patreon depending when the person/people where checking. I know a few months ago I was looking for certain videos using the app that I knew you posted and they wouldn’t come up (this was using the mobile app). When I logged in on my computer and did the same search the videos came up 🤷🏽‍♀️
