I’m unfortunately having to quarantine as I haven’t been feeling too well and may have been exposed (I work in a hospital, so not much avoidance there😣), but something I can pull positively out of this is that it’ll give me some time to rest and binge a bunch of your patreon content finally. It’s been a week since BE right? And it always still feels so new when I listened to them again 🥰🥰 I must say 1st thing guys that Brody is a champion!!! Hehehe for him to be still and sleeping when listening is just the cutest pls 😍😍 AND GUYS!!! I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOUR REVIEWS!! Gosh this is why I love you guys so much!!! The whole album is a masterpiece. These guys just truly understand and are one with music. They are one with themselves and understand what humanity needs to hear. For me they are the most important artists of our generation, maybe even ever. I've never experience artists like them on this caliber where everything they make is a hit. This was a great watch. Cant wait for you to read the lyrics while playing the songs. Btw for Blue and Grey im sure youve seen that its actually V song that was suppose to be in his mixtape. But the Weverse magazine today came out was the V issue and he actually talks about his emotions and the depression he was going through when writing this song and its a great read! Listening to this for the first time was just a rollercoaster of emotions, and even now after listening to it numerous times I still feel those same emotions. I cried and still cry when I listen to Life Goes On. Then to go from that to Dis-ease?! Omg... Also the transition from Stay to Dynamite really was a good way to end the album. chef's kiss

My favorites are "Telepathy" and "Dis-Ease". The moods of both of these songs just get me. I love the instrumentals of "Telepathy" and the wordplay of "Dis-Ease". Mental health can be a "DISEASE" that puts one at "DIS-EASE". The groove of the instrumentals make you feel that it will be alright, even if your mind may feel like an altered state.

Fly to my room and dis-ease is so underrated man. Shit even Stay. This entire album is what we really needed. You can hear how they've been studying their voices, especially Jimin and V. They have been testing their tones and it shows so heavily in this album. Every last one of them is killing it, and I just don't know how they are going to level up, but they do every single time.

Ok last comment but I really appreciate how you look into things before hand and are always so open minded and enthusiastic. Blue and Grey, I really love this song. It gives me goosebumps each time i hear it. You can really feel the emotions in their voices when they sing and the tone they set for this song. My reaction was the same one as Blaze with Telepathy. To me it sounds like they really didn't try to sugar coat about the current state of the world and their own struggles to get through this. But what is extremely admirable is that even as they themselves are going through this and having a difficult time emotionally because of the pandemic, not once have they stopped thinking about us, ARMY. This just goes to further proof how much we matter to them and that they don't take us for granted. Even if they are having a hard time mentally they always want to make sure that we are ok and that we are not alone because we are in this together even if we are sick or not we all share ONE home. lots of love WHATCHER FAM.

I honestly can't wait until I see your reactions to the lyrics. Blue and Gray is my favorite song off the album. The raw emotions in each and every one of their voices hits me to the core each time I listen to this song. I love this album. I have to say 'Blue & Grey' and 'Dis-ease' are my favorites, BE really is a no skip album. The boys deserve all the love and respect in the world. It may seem obsurd to people who are looking in from the outside, but BTS really love us. They are 'ride or die' for us and I think I can safely say we are 'ride or die' for them. If I hear someone say a bad word about them I say sonmething. It feels like they insulted a family member when people go after BTS. I am a grown woman in my forties and I feel this way. The whole album has no skips it's incredible. Blue&Grey hurts and hugs me at the same time it broke me a little, it's definitely one of my favorites. Couple of other things i wanted to mention: 1)"i feel good" during stay is so me :D edm/house tracks don't usually become my favorites, but i really like stay. (maybe that's just jks touch, i mean magic shop is also incredible 😂) 2) i love Dis-ease too. In their Press conference they mostly said "worked on x song" not in what role exactly(i think except Jk being called MV Director) but i also think I've heard or read of one of them mentioning hobi as a pd or co-producer. But what i do know for sure because jimin said it is that while he was recording dis-ease didn't have a bridge yet. He called it "improv" in an interview i think, but he ended up writing the bridge. The whole song just had me with my jaw dropped and the the brigde ended me. It's such a jhope song😂 3) about the credits, i don't know where you were reading it from (looked like maybe doolsetlyrics?), but the most accurate source for those are their physical albums. KOMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association that they're all members of) is also a good source, but it's important to know how to read their credits, as they don't have credits for the producer. They only credit Composers (C) and Lyricists (A). 💜

Loved your reactions and insights! I too feel the whole album is a no-skip. Even though some of the songs had the same general theme, each song was so different. Each time the song changed, I was transported to a different place and emotional field. The songs made me introspective, nostalgic, groovy and most importantly super happy in each moment as the songs progressed.

Listening with and without lryics are definitely two different experiences, esp with BTS and both are deeply enjoyable and meaningful, in my opinion. Watching yall take it in and just vibe to it was so much fun too! At first my fave song was Dis-ease too but after several more listens I really can’t choose anymore lmaoo. Jhope was the main composer of the song and iBrasstracks alone didnt produce it he did it along with Pdogg and GHSTLOOP. Brasstracks himself gave them credit for the production of the bridge which was written by Jimin. In conclussion a lot of people work in a song. 😅

This album is taking us through the eras! You've got the gospel feel with Fly to My Room, 60's Beatles Era with Blue & Grey, 80's synth with Telepathy, late 90's/00's Rap and R&B with Dis-ease, 90's Rave with a Stay, 70's Disco in Dynamite and their own style inspriational in Life Goes On. Dis-ease is a whole experience. I seriously felt like I was taken somewhere else when that bridge hit. Btw, I suggest you check out doolsetbangtan's site now because there's a description for Dis-ease too! I don't know if at the time you filmed the video maybe she hadn't posted it yet. But they basically talk about the fact that they're workaholics and couldn't fully enjoy the rest they had to take during the pandemic and that that's their disease. It's absolutely genius. J-Hope is a genius. (Also, Jimin was the one who came up with the bridge, and the melody was so good that their producer Pdogg asked him to write the entire bridge).

Where to even start with this album. You're right, no song is a skip song and BTS takes you on a journey. My current favs are Blue & Grey, Telepathy, and Dis-ease for similar reasons you talked about. I'm a sucker for melancholy songs and Blue & Grey is that and so much more. I love it because it gives all of the members to really show off their musicianship, like you mentioned, how they are "sang"ers. They put so much emotion into their voice and it's so subtle, but so powerful. You feel what they feel and are feeling. Telepathy is that hype song you just can't help but dance to, I get out of my chair every time it comes on. And I have nowhere to begin with Dis-ease. J Hope man. I loved your reaction to this album ;e of BTS as always it was heartfelt and true reaction. I think for some in the beginning it was hard for them to get into this album at first. Bcuz they were expecting the same type of music that BTS usually makes and not to say that their music is the same but they have a certain type of music that they create. I love this album for me it is second second to Dark and Wild. I feel like this came straight from their hearts and creativity and how they were feeling the past 9 months. Like you said none of the songs sound the same they all sound different For me Dis-ease is second to Fly to my Room. I love the horn section at the end of the Dis-ease. Telepathy and Dis-ease are my favorite tracks at the moment but the whole album is a masterpiece :D

Great reaction and it matches a lot of what I felt listening. My fav is Telepathy and the moment it started I remember going “Oh wow, Suga wrote this” and the bridge in Dis-ease is just chefs kiss and anyway thank you for this—it’s always nice to know someone else gets it. :)
