2021-05-23 22:52:28 +0000 UTCI played Bomberman games CONSTANTLY on the SNES when I was a kid ('90s). nice to see someone else in the comments who recognizes it! it's one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played... my brother and I would destroy each other for days on that thing. <b>more info for Nico & Them:</b> Bomberman is a super classic game franchise that began in Japan in 1985 and continues globally with fresh content to this day. the games (of which there are over 70 at present) were originally made for Nintendo systems, but are now available for virtually all systems. they're currently owned and primarily developed by Konami. I have only ever played the older games (as I said above, the ones for SNES), but they are so fucking good. you can't find a better party game. it will get a group of people PUMPED to own each other lmfao. and for bonus points, it's cute, hilarious, and works better if you're tactical, on top of making you want to crush your enemies. IMO, the best games in the series that you can go for are the Super Bombermans (1-5), with Super Bomberman 2 being my personal favorite. in one review of SBM2, an editorialist said, "This is truly God's perfect party game."
