Some Context for what I am doing and what is on my patreon.

Since I posted about the new game on itch.io and f95, my patreon has gotten more views. I would like to make sure everyone is aware before starting the context of both games.

I always wanted to be a game dev growing up, a long time ago I starting learning C so for modding and editing existing games, and learned how to tweak game engines, Though I never really took it past that, I grew up got a job and that was just my life for awhile. After Covid I lost my job and figured this is a good chance to really try to get back into game design. I decided the easiest engine to learn with would be RenPy. After deciding that, I had to think what kind of game do I want to make? Well most people are inside more often than not now, and literally everyone consumes porn in one way or another so why not do that?

Then came what will the game be about? I wanted the game to do well, but not be too popular. Why would I purposefully limit my game though? Because I was learning and I am a perfectionist. If people view my product and are like wtf is this? I take it personally. So I wanted to make a game for a niche audience. 

So the Variables I had at this time are, Make a game, Adult Game, Niche Audience to limit the popularity of it until I can get better at the coding side of things.

So time to pick the niche and pick the storyline. So I just went looking specifically to find something that already had an existing storyline. So I went to a website and sorted by multiwork series. I saw a few that had 20 or more entries. And thought well thats too long. I don't want to force myself into a 20 update game where nothing is really of my own. So I narrowed it down, by using that Niche market idea. Which brought me to NTR. I knew NTR was hated by a majority of the community. Which would limit the games success in the mainstream.  Now do I personally have any issues with NTR? No I have played some NTR games, and I have played some other games, hell while doing research for what my game would be about I played over 100 games of all different types, to absorb that knowledge and see what type of things others were making. But by deciding on an NTR game that limited it down to only 10 options for multiwork series on the site I was on. I picked one that had 5 releases.

In doing that chapters 1-5 are almost entirely based on the original authors work while 6-10 are entirely my own, where I could use the first 5 chapters to learn the tools and coding. Then use the next 5 as I had commited to doing 10 chapters. As a way to get better at storytelling and character design. Though as I read through the original work there were some aspects of it that I felt took things too far and I refused to make those. Mainly that is the changes I made in chapters 1,3, and 5. Where I felt it made the bf character too much of a cuck. I wanted to make it seem like no one was in the right in this situation and have a more realistic situation where everyone is at least a little bit of a problem in one way or another. 

Which I feel came off well enough? Now obviously some people enjoyed the NTR concept and the game stayed decently well under the radar. While I learned, and let me tell you I learned a lot. I learned how to code not only in Ren'Pys screen language but in python as well. I am still learning, but I would say I went from beginner to advanced. I also learned how to make custom animations, and did a bit of playing around in blender. I learned how to make audio and did some playing in Audacity. Granted I personally do not enjoy making the audio files. For me it feels like an extra step, but its what people asked for so its what I am doing.

So what was this post about and what does it mean? Well I guess it's mostly a warning for people that are coming to the page now, if you do not enjoy NTR and you prefer a more Harem style of storytelling steer clear of the HerFall game as that game does not have avoidable NTR. In that game you play as the girl so it's not from the perspective of the dude getting cucked. But that vibe is still present so it's best to avoid that entirely if thats not your cup of tea. 

If you are here because you are looking forward to the new game I am working on. Then know it will not have any NTR of any kind. To the people that enjoy that I am sorry, I will be continuing to finish the Her Fall game, as I said I would in the beginning 10 chapters minimum.

The new game will not have any restriction on the chapters, hell it wont have chapters at all. It plays more like a dating sim with rpg and action elements tossed in. It is also about a series of light novels that I personally enjoy quite a lot. Which is why I choose to make a game about it. I feel like I can replicate how characters would react in certain situations and make that feel natural. The TLDR of the games story is You play as Rudeus, he is building up an army to take on the Man-God, I want to add more male characters to the game as team members but without the romanceable tag as I am not a gay or bi dude, I don't feel like I would be good at writing the dialogue for that, so I would rather not attempt it. I am not saying I will never decide to release a game in the future that follows some LGBT stuff, but if I did I would have to have someone else be the writer for said project while I just did the coding and or animations. 

I feel like I am at the point that I have learned a lot about python and can code this new game well enough. but enough is never good enough for me. So I will continue to watch classes and tutorials on any form of coding I can to get a better grasp of it, I mean shit right now I am watching a 26 almost 27 hour video on youtube called Harvard CS50, while getting animations for the special bathroom scenes for the new game. That I talked about yesterday essentially with Rudy's wives if you walk in and they are talking a bath they will ask you to join them, if you agree you will get a different scene based on your current lust level. 

Level 0 - Wife just washes player
Level 25 - Handjob
Level 50 - Blowjob (in eris's case a titjob and a blowjob)
Level 75 - Vaginal Sex
Level 100 - Anal Sex

Also when I code these scenes it will be the players choice which scene they get, as when the wives get off also their lust level goes down. (Basically just a failsafe feature so players actually play the game and don't just repeat the same scene over and over again.)
Though when you get off and they don't it increases their lust level even higher.

So My plans for the rest of this weekend and Next Week.

Saturday - I will be making all of these special bathroom scenes and all the sleeping special scenes, then making a new desktop background for the office computer.

Sunday - I will be getting started on getting all the different animations and renders for every sexual act you can do with each wife.

Monday -  doing the same for the unlockable 2 characters that will be for the alpha version of the game. 

Tuesday -  I will be organizing and coding all that while writing the dialogue for the scenes and animations done so far..

Wednesday - I will be making the audio files for the available scenes

Thursday - More than likely still doing audio... I am not that good at it yet...

Friday - Sitting down and writing out the beginning of the overall story script.

Saturday - Making and adding the Castle area and all image buttons associated with it.

Sunday - Making and adding the Ranoa University and all image buttons associated with that.

Things I still need to get done after the stuff listed but before launching the alpha -
re- making the UI because let's be real it looks like ass I think I can do better.
Add/make the special easter egg Roxy masturbation scenes. Audio for those scenes.
Bug test EVERYTHING!! 

So I mean as you can see it is coming along and getting closer to being ready to launch every day. I don't want to give the game a release date, only because by doing so I am forcing myself to commit to something that I could be wrong on and end up letting people down on. Which I would rather not do. Though I will say I have thought about and decided not to make everyone wait until after I finish Her Fall to release the alpha. I will be releasing it in the standard 10$ tier for 2 Weeks then 5 and 2$ Tiers for 2 weeks, Then free after that. I decided I will just alternate updates. To try to keep both sides happy as I am currently still making both games. To the people that are waiting for more from the Her Fall Game the chapter 7.5 will be going free in 2 weeks. It is currently released for the 5 and 2$ tiers. 

When is the next part of Her Fall releasing? Well I took 500 lines of dialogue and turned it into 4400 lines of code and screen language, 517 images, 109 animations and 34 audio files. I am only halfway through chapter 8, literally. There is still 500 more lines of dialogue. Which will mean it will have double the code images and animations and all that. So it's coming but I ended up deciding to do one game per week. And have spent the last few weeks working on laying the groundwork for the new game. So after this next Sunday I will be spending that entire next week on Her Fall and should be able to have it done and ready to launch by that friday. That game does not need nearly as much coding or time spent slamming my head against a wall for code breaking and not compiling properly. So it's easier to make and faster.

Hopefully when I get the base game skeleton done for MH it will also be just as easy to add new things to as well. Well I have spent the last half hour writing this I should probably start that youtube video again and get back to work. I will be posting a progress update later for MH and some images and videos that I have made today. Though I will probably keep the spicier ones for a special 2$ tier thing. That way it keeps the page from showing too much if anyone just happens across it you know? If you are a free member and want to see the images remember I am almost always reachable on Discord. I am generally on my pc for 16-20 hours a day and whenever I am on my PC discord is on typically just set to show offline for avoiding people I would rather not talk to.
