Some news from the dev side for the Bear Hemera! It is going well and I will start printing with it very soon. Once the first prints are done and validated, I will share the files with all Patreons for a "beta test campaign".
The wiring is finally done (was not easy) and supports different type of wire thickness (like LDO nozzle fan, Pinda v1 vs Pinda v2, hotend fan with 2 or 3 wires and so on.).
The heated block is at 135° compared to original position. This helps to make a more compact shroud design. The shroud is for now totally untested (except the fact it prints well), it is only designed with what I learned during the design of the Bear extruder shroud. Shroud needs a lot of real world testing that will come hopefully next week.
Special attention has been taken for the cooling of the hotend and the stepper. This is also why there is no filament sensor at the moment as it would cover the top of the hotend and impact natural convection. However, you can use a Prusa mini filament sensor, it should be compatible (not tested yet).
In order to make a little wink to E3D, I added a kinematic coupling for the X axis stepper to self center it. You can see it on the 6th picture.
