Future Y stepper mount?
Added 2019-08-07 13:34:47 +0000 UTCThis could be the future Y stepper mount. Much more stiffer and the stepper does not touch anymore the extrusion (on MK3). Doing some testing with this one right now. It will still probably need an extra support for the motor, will see what tests are going to say.
Hardware:
- 1x M5x12mm
- 1x M5x16mm
- 2x t-nuts
- 3x M3x18mm

Give me one or two days and will be good. Several changes have been added and I am finishing version for MK2S/2.5(S) on both Full Bear MK3 and MK2S/2.5(S) frame. I had to go in my cave for almost a week, that was not easy!

2019-08-15 12:13:09 +0000 UTCCurious as to whether this is at a point you are comfortable sharing STLs for yet! I'm at the point of building my Y carriage and I have the new idler printed but not positive that will work with the old Y motor mount. Happy to beta test this one too!

Just something I have personal interest in. If you did a live vid chat though I'm sure your Patreons would be well behaved. :)
