Hello Everyone, just wanted to drop in and share my thoughts and conclusions on the 1st Feedback Request. The overall sentiment was a greater emphasis on the Army/Kingdom Building and on Theo's POV, but without losing the individuality of the side characters, which you've expressed you are enjoying.

For me as an author, it is crucial to deepen the antagonists and side characters so the world feels alive and that it hasn't just stopped to wait on Theodorus's every move. I want my readers to feel that every challenge he overcomes (or doesn't) has a multi-layered approach and is impressive exactly because he works around other characters with their own strengths, agendas, and motivations.

So I have tweaked the story to try to encompass the fine line of showing enough of Theo and the side characters, and my solution will be revealed soon on this front. Suffice to say, future chapters will more heavily feature Theodorus and his adventures.

As many of you have gathered, the focus of this second volume is centered more heavily on intrigue. My main thought process was to avoid a formulaic and repetitive format for Fallen Eagle, as I wanted to showcase the wide breadth of aspects that can be present in a Kingdom-Building story. I have tweaked the story to take your suggestions into account, but the main focus of the volume will firmly remain on the shadowy games of power being played. I feel this is the most realistic for a minor player like Theodorus, who doesn't have much power or influence. Yet ;)
