Judy Animation - WiP | Update 1

So far so good. Still working on it, I've decided to extend the duration and make it feel more interesting. It should come out this month, but I can't promise anything. I still have to render it, do the SFX and then wait for the voice actress. Then, mix it all together. I'm doing a few commissions in the meantime, so that is taking a bit of my time & effort, but it shouldn't delay the animation.

I will share an image preview (that'll be patreon exlusive) in the next update post. No ETA for that, obviously.

I've experience a few rigging issues, but I've managed to fix them. The only thing I'm struggling with is the facial rig, which is not exactly ideal, so I had to resort to animating the already pre-existing facial expression shape keys. In the end, it makes the animation somewhat easier to do, but makes it harder to get a proper expression out unless you mix it with manual animation of the individual bones.

Future Plans
I am currently saving up for a gpu upgrade, am almost halfway there - so when that'll come, I'll be able to push higher quality artworks faster & maybe more frequently than now. It will also allow me to make animations without having to stress about the render time too much. I currently have a 4060Ti (8GB) and am planning to buy the 5070Ti (16gb). I would go for a 5090, but I do not have enough money and, frankly, it is overkill for me currently. 5070Ti will be just fine until I can make this patreon/nsfw business a full-time thing. Once I do that and make enough monthly to be able to do this full-time, then I will save up and get myself a proper "render farm" and use the 5070Ti purely for gaming and working while the 5090 will be in the background rendering. At least that is my plan for now. :)
