It's similar to back in the days where you would run multiple fortresses on the same world, except back then there would be stress spirals that would lead you to startting a new one, but now that that's fixed it's hard to dictate an "end" point. But I don't think you have to straight up end it! Adding a new fortress, revisiting the old one, and generally keeping the world story moving forward is perfect! Keep it up!
