Added 2019-12-13 11:01:00 +0000 UTC I really loved drawing these guys. Can't even put it into words, really. Was just real nice to be able to have a bit of freedom with their designs. Can't wait to see which of the poor bastards comes out on top!
Below is a prototype icon for Splatterface. I don't know what i was thinking.
Down below is the first version of Tom (which translates to Belly in dwarven) which had the satyr as a female. I didn't realize satyr couldn't be female for some damn reason.
And down here is the first draft of Battleglade drawn with wooden armor. I didn't realize until testing that you can't spawn wooden armor in the arena! Dammit, I much preferred this design, too. ALMOST just said "Ohh it's finely crafted copper made to resemble wood" But, it felt extraordinarily lazy. Note the orange staining from the original Splatterface logo. Damn cheap markers!
