Managing Stress

Has anyone found any fullproof methods to managing dwarven stress in the current version of DF? I'm talkin' lesser-known tricks here. I know to give the dwarves nice bedrooms, food, drinks, clothing etc and to make sure temples, libraries and taverns are around, But is there anything i'm missing? I've heard some folks claim that SOME dwarves cannot be unstressed! I'm just really hoping that's not really the case :p

I had a dwarf that was harrowed, throwing tantrums left and right, I set up a jail cell (restraint not cage) as nice as i could, and made it a library because that dwarf was "distracted after a lack of abstract thinking". Funny thing was that that dwarf got a lot of happy thought from "repenting". So he came out of jail feeling a lot better than before. Then there was a different dwarf with a similar situation that wasn't happy at all being jailed. Worst thing I did however was probably to convict an animal for a crime, that really made a lot of dwarves angry... poor helpless animals..." I also suggest making sure that the "someone in charge" that they want to yell at or cry on is available and with a nice office since i've noticed many time they either have a "meeting" far out in the woods outside the fortress, or the person in charge is busy making them wait in the office until they give up.

I made a dwarven mental hospital once. Basically kept them isolated in a burrow fully furnished with everything they could possibly need. Wrote down the details here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kD7NbVmrZJHjfwzACj0LnahWxEsyXn3SMhLIHyMFmU0/edit?usp=sharing There's also a link to imgur with pics of the mental hospital.
