Never played D&D? This guide is for you
Added 2024-11-20 19:31:06 +0000 UTCFor a while now, I've been thinking that I should make a TRUE beginner's guide to D&D โ not just "how to develop a personality" or "things all new players should know," but an actual breakdown of how the game is played, on a basic level. So here's that video!
This is for newbies (particularly those who haven't played Actual Play or similar, the ones who truly do not know how the format of the game works!) but also for DMs who introduce newbies to the game. I know that explaining basic gameplay when you're so marinated in it can be really tough, so hopefully this gives you a little guidance on how to approach the game from a beginner's perspective.
(Also, you will see in this video JUST how unnecessary my Barbie customization was ๐)
