Added 2024-11-06 19:50:15 +0000 UTCHi All, I've finally moved onto my dedicated windows development machine and I have to say the development IDE and build time is SOOOO much faster!!! Here's my first build from the new environment and as mentioned in earlier posts its aimed at addressing some outstanding issues and requests. (In the background I'm still working on a slicker tagging system but that is taking time and i'm not happy with the stability at the moment).
In the meantime enjoy this latest release, it has a fix around plugins searching online content, it has an update to the VLC libraries for video playback and "I think" has the GPU enabled video playback but I'm still experimenting with it. My NVIDIA GPU is certainly getting hit when I'm playing videos!
Finally there is more work around Browsers and Playlists with choosers for each, this means I've also added Artwork controls to these two areas. Have a play and see what you think.

Hey all, wanted to dust this off again! Anyone find a way to pass the video command values in the edit casting settings for MPC-HC?

2025-01-18 08:40:56 +0000 UTCBeen a while since I updated anything in the collection and instantly find a crash :D Find something without any tags, click to add tags and put in a random string that isnt a tag. Click on another item in the library and when it prompts to save, say yes. BOOM!

2024-11-16 12:17:14 +0000 UTCAlong those lines, a player which does support RTX playback is the latest MPC-HC, but I can't figure out the command line in the Casting settings to play the exact video in the External Command Parameters. Thanks!

2024-11-10 15:50:05 +0000 UTCThanks for the update! The RTX video enhancement isn't kicking on for me at least. You can check this in the NVIDA Control Panel under "Adjust Video Image Settings" To the far right you will see RTX video Enhacement with "Super Resolution" enablement checkbox. IF its checked and while a video is running it should say "Status: Active" vs "Status: Inactive"
