Pornspective v2 Alpha 2.0.5

Hi guys, hope you are all enjoying the festive period! A happy new year to you too!

The last six weeks have been a little difficult to concentrate on the latest version due to settling into a new house and waiting for a good internet connection. I'm pleased to say though I've managed to spend some good time over Christmas working on the latest v2 and have uploaded version 2.0.5 for you to try. Be aware this version now has complete scanning, saving and renaming of files capabilities (calling all the original code from v1 so relatively stable), however I'd recommend you make sure you backup your v1 before playing around with this.

Things I've done in this release :-

1. Finished the EditTag screen with the plugin settings now implemented, I've also modified the place where you can link in URLs for Studio and Actresses to a grid list as I'm sure this will grow and therefore easier to maintain.

2. Added a Local Settings screen under About menu. This is where all those settings used to be stored but are now presented on a single screen with explanations of the functionality for each setting.

3. Implemented the minimise to tray function, like the v1 had.

4. Hooked up some more functionality, cover art can now be previewed and trailers shown and all save and renaming functions should work. Exit application now works from the file menu.

5. When main window closes it will prompt if the application is busy and remind you.

6. Upgraded the media player to the latest VLC libraries.

7. Fixed an issue where the bookmarks were not showing in the media player.

8. Hooked up the AI application to V2 and connection can be tested in the local settings screen. However still not yet hooked up the main calls to kick off an AI scan or import an AI results report, that's my next job.

The next work therefore will be to finish off the AI integration with the AI app and then implement the Browser edit screen. Finally I just then need to tidy up some of the searching logic for plugins and think about what to do with the Tag detail screen, oh and also implement the export tags screen. Then we'll be in a beta mode and getting polished up for a release candidate. Hopefully all this in January whilst the days are short and weather is rainy here in the UK!

Anyway, feel free to try out the latest alpha and let me know of any issues :), here's a key that will have 60 days access to evaluate the v2 product.
