Pornspective v2 ... Checklist getting smaller!
Added 2021-10-26 19:05:25 +0000 UTCHi Guys, v2 is getting closer by the day. I've been working several areas which I'm pleased to say are now done. I'll build up another prototype for you to have a look in the next few days.
Good news, I've redone the licensing code so that the system is much better at not changing install codes on windows update or removing/changing portable harddrives. So this will be a much needed improvement on the v1.
I've added the licensing screen, the about screen and also the backup and restore functionality. I've worked on the sizing so that when you stretch screen it doesn't distort the images. I've created a download manager screen too, and the downloading of content from plugins is all working too. Only one issue is the new .NET framework has a bug which stops you cancelling current download but I'll fix this once I've got the rest of the app implemented.
The selecting location for downloading is done, with the ability to rename etc prior to downloading (like v1 had). Finally I've done the hardest screen of the lot, the tag merging screen ... well 95% complete, I should finish off in next couple of days.
So what's left?
1. Hooking up the scanning, purposely removed so doesn't break anything. A couple of nights to sort this.
2. The browser configuration, one of the admin screens I still have to do. Not huge, a few days max.
3. The plugin settings within Tags, currently I've just added a message to say I'll be adding this to the tags screen. A couple of days.
4. The AI config screens that allows app to talk to the AI app. Three to five days.

6. A few sizing issues when you resize the main app, just a few buggy things I need to sort.
7. Just generally finding and fixing any bugs.
