GPU support for Pornspective AI
Added 2021-04-12 16:38:08 +0000 UTCHi Guys, this week I'll build up a GPU enabled version of Pornspective AI. If you'd like to volunteer to help test this then please drop me a message. Obviously you'll need to have a relatively new Nvidia GPU to help or though happy for you to try with any good GPU and let me know whether its faster. I'll make the installer a different id so you can install side by side and compare. From what I read, you should hopefully see AI detection increase by 8x the normal CPU rate, which would be awesome. (Please note image thumb-nailing may still be same speed as before, I'm looking to use VLC libraries or FFMPEG hardware switches maybe to speed this up in future but want to tackle one thing at a time).
GPUs are an area I don't know much about I'm afraid so it might involve lots of trial and error on this, so I'll need patient volunteers and ideally those that are happy to video screens to show me issues etc.
