More features for next Beta
Added 2019-11-27 21:54:06 +0000 UTCIn the released Beta 0.2.0.0 you might notice I've allowed for a filename to be edited within the application - but I've disabled the final rename bit until I'm happy it works right.
Well, now I've managed to get it all working for the next Beta. Essentially you can rename the file through the app by either straight forward manual approach but as you type you'll see how valid the filename is looking i.e. if you code (DP,CP) then you'll see it highlight you've tagged it with Double Pen and Creampie. So a great way to validate the filename! Cool hey.
Better still, you can use the screen the other way around and double click tags and watch the filename change automatically. Finally hit "Rename File" and it'll rename the file for you and obviously track the change.
I've added a few context menus to the main screen, I'm a fan of shortcut keys but this will suit those who like right clicking things!
Finally, just one thing to point out when it comes to renaming files. As I've always tried to keep simple, you can rename in Windows Explorer without fear ... Pornspective will actually still spot the file! How? Well it uses a clever technique I've developed, it doesn't track by filename it actually tracks by a unique signature of the file. You can rename or move the file all you like, Pornspective will still know all about it! It'll never get out of sync.
More updates next couple of days ... thinking next to either start putting together the admin screen i.e. ability to add folders to scan from within the app rather than edit config. Also ability to create tags in the app, again with needing to edit the config. So I'll either do the admin screen or I'm tempted at creating a screen to help bookmark videos, idea is it'll bring up 25 screen shots across the length of the video (on a tiled screen) and you can choose seven for bookmarks of video - might make it a little quicker to get all videos bookmarked!
