Pornspective v0.1 Beta
Added 2019-11-18 22:18:49 +0000 UTCOkay, I've now pretty much completed my first beta version of Pornspective. A windows desktop application at this stage (to get things going!) that has scanned over 5000 test videos and thumbnailed all after a few tweaks to allow it to cope with corrupt videos that caused it originally to stall.
5000 media items loads in a few seconds (videos are actually on my NAS drive), thumbnails are created locally for speed. Filtering and searching videos is pretty much instant, and playing videos is super fast compared with browsing in Windows Explorer and opening a standard media player.
Application is very raw, no installer as yet and the tags and search folders are configured in a settings file edited in notepad. Aim was to have a working app first, then worry about settings pages after once I know all the settings I want a user to be able to edit!
This is just the begining, lots of ideas of where this can now go.
