How do you feel about it?
The only thing is I don't think I can upload two heavy videos together so I'm splitting the two parts in two posts ^^

2022-12-03 21:23:55 +0000 UTCYou have to remember, this is the man that turned heads by claiming to have spent 10 billion won to debut a group from a company no one had ever heard of only to admit years later that he lied and it was closer to 4 billion. He's good at shock marketing and that's exactly what this is. Due to the overall concept of TripleS, AAA was never supposed to stay together so what happens if you change the narrative and frame it as a possible disbandment if they don't reach 100,000 sales? Two things happen: you potentially increase sales from worried fans and you also draw in curious attention due to the absurdity of the demand only for people to then see you actually go through with it. It definitely raised eyebrows. My main concern is the overall concept. People praise versatility but in reality their taste in music isn't as versatile as they'd like to think. What people actually crave is consistency and this group is going to have trouble giving that to them. I do hope for the best though.

I think I've heard just about every reactors make the New Jeans comparison which is definitely fair but I will say I kind of feel like it's not as heavy of an influence as people may think (at least sound wise) and that's because the guy behind this group is Jaden Jeong who is Loona's ex creative director and this is 100% his style. It's very reminiscent of early Loona which is a positive to me bc I love the R&B retro vibe he goes for. Also because it's Jaden Jeong I would just go ahead and give up on ever following whatever lore comes out. That's about as intricate as it can get
