What should we do for May?

PATRONS HELLOOOO!! Happy May, buddies!

It's time to choose what special event we want to do here on the Patreon for the month!

Since I'm facing down this killer art block for personal art, the final deadlines for my book client project coming up in the next two months, AND that my average Arty Business/Making It articles take a minimum of three full work days to create... I think it would be the most refreshing and inspiring for all of us if we did something a little different for May and June.

Here's my ideas:

+ Livestream Party: Animation Afternoon! Let's get some snacks and bevs, grab our sketchbooks, and get some inspiration from animation! One of the only artistic things that's been getting me inspired lately is animation, and I'd love to stream a few that have extra inspired me lately: The Secret of Kells, The Mitchell's vs. The Machine, Howl's Moving Castle.

+ Get to Know: My Old Art! I've been drawing a long time! I'll take you on a journey from my elementary school Neopets pencil drawings, my middle school half-baked comics, my high school Tumblr-inspired Disney Princesses, my art school college fundamentals, frustrated architecture student doodles, and finally the first forays of Ragonia Art.

+ Livestream Party: Figure Drawing! I never did it in school cause I was an architecture major! I'm bad at it! But it's good for you! Let's take our vitamins together and do some timed figure drawing practice, and get those good communal-art-feels along the way.

+ Get to Know: My Favorite Artists! OBVIOUSLY all of my patrons are my favorite artists. ;3 And there are tons of artists whose work I think is awesome or who do super rad stuff with business, but what artists do I look to to influence my own work? With this option I'll share my top stylistic art influences at the moment, from illustration, photography, comics, animation, and product design.
