Witchy Commission Process Video

Hello my Patron buddies, and a very happy Friday to you!

I have had a bit of a weird, up-and-down week, so I think it’s the perfect Friday to share a new process video! This is a digital commission I finished this week for a customer who wanted a witchy portrait of herself and her cat, in the vein of Kiki’s Delivery Service. I really enjoyed working on this one and I hope you enjoy seeing the process of creating it! Let me know in the comments if you have any specific questions about my portrait process.

Before I head out I have a few more little updates:

1. Wow wow we’ve had six new patrons join us in the last few weeks! I want to give a big welcome to Christa, Shideh, Amber, Julia, Skye, and Tanith! Thank you all so much for your support here! You are seriously making a difference in the life of an independent illustrator. For $5+ Patrons, your thank you cards will go out after your first payment processes at the beginning of the next month. If you signed up last month your cards should be arriving soon, and I hope you love them!

2. We’re getting super close to our second goal of 25 patrons!!? The reward for that goal is a set of Patron Exclusive STICKERS that I will design with your input, share every step of the design process, order, and then mail your way as a thank you! You all have already been so supportive and wonderful, but if you’re enjoying the Patreon so far I would super appreciate you spreading the word. 

3. I‘m all ready to set up our new CLOSE FRIENDS perk on Instagram!! All patrons are now invited to join my Close Friends stories group on Instagram, where I’ll share even more behind the scenes stories, silliness, and cat pics. Not that I’m always super polished on Insta, but you can expect the Patreon exclusive stories to be even more honest and just, like, super REAL, ya know?
