Welp, in case you're double featuring and considering this, here are the shorts to go along with Episode 12:
#1 ) Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained: "Grunkle Stan's Tattoo" (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez9siOReEkg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez9siOReEkg</a>)
#2 ) Mabel's Guide to Life: "Stickers" (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSgQ217Q2zc" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSgQ217Q2zc</a>)

My favorite "ancient" arcade game is Dig Dug. :) Of course, in modern times, I have too many favorites to count! Gaming is my raison d'etre ;)
Anyway, I love the double features, especially coming into the back half of Season 1, which if ever there was a "lull" period of Gravity Falls, that's it. However, if you think maybe double features are rough on you time wise but you have a litttttle bit more time, maybe time for 1 1/2? That'd be good, because it's time to talk about the Shorts. :)
To put it mildly (or blatantly understate it), Gravity Falls was never good about spacing when it aired. You'll find in the comments section of MANY Season 2 videos, we'll take great pride in telling you how many months we had to wait for the next ep. It wasn't entirely their fault; the scheduling department was used to shows that didn't have continuity, like Phineas and Ferb. They never really adapted to the sort of schedule pace a show like this needed.
This was epitomized in the ONE YEAR HIATUS between the end of Season 1 (8/2/13) to the beginning of Season 2 (8/1/14). In order to wet our whistles and keep the show relevant during that one year span, we got... the shorts. Seventeen 2-3 minute mini episodes that experimented in some ways with the different tones that the new season would be taking on. They're generally pretty awesome. :)
Reactors have dealt with the shorts in different ways. Sad to say, if you watch them all at once, you and we will eventually start finding them WAY tedious - they're not meant to be a 51 minute mega-episode. But if you space them out between Season 1 and 2, essentially causing a 1 month delay before we get into Season 2 awesomeness, people will cry. :)
My proposed solution is to space them out by tagging 2-3 of them to the ends of Season 1 episodes, starting with Episode 12. With one huge exception, they don't contain any spoilers post ep 12, and I deal with the one exception by just making sure to put it after episode 20. ;) They're all available in their entirety on YouTube, so I can just provide you the appropriate links to pair up with the appropriate episodes.
Thoughts? Would you like to do this?
