Kino's Journey episode 5 part 1!

Jeez. This poor guy. I wonder if Kino picking that story to tell was intended to get him to question his choices, and if so, I wonder if the question he fired back was revenge. He presumably knows what Travelers are like, culturally, and how there is no destination, just the journey--so asking a Traveler where they’re going like that can be a hard question to answer.
I don’t know whether I want this guy to be recalled by his company or not. I think I do--getting to live his life again instead of pursuing this utterly pointless task for the next twenty years until he dies would be good in the long run--but I can’t help but feel that him going home would destroy him in the short term.
Man. That poor guy.
