A Place Further Than the Universe, episode 10 part 2!

Okay, now I’m tearing up a little bit.

That poor girl. She went so long without real friends. This is a long time coming for her--she’s managed to make a real connection with people her own age, ones who aren’t just using her for social status, ones who actually care about her and do things like go out of their way to set up a surprise birthday party at the bottom of the world. This is the first time in her life that friends have acknowledged her birthday...I can’t imagine. She’s been so lonely...this poor girl.

This was a real feel-good episode. It didn’t have the high energy of some other episodes (or the absolute roller coaster of emotions that was the Mari/Megumi “breakup” scene) but this left me smiling and satisfied. What a good episode. What a good show.

And next time we’re going to see the girls actually put their show together! What fun.

Up next is going to be this month’s Patron Picks! (Thank you again to the patron who picked A Place Further for giving me the leeway to do this liveblog at the start of October due to the mental health issues I was having last month.) We’ll be starting episode 12 of Paranoia Agent on Wednesday, so stay tuned for that. Streamwise...I’m not sure! I’m going to try to stream tomorrow, but I’m not sure what it’ll be. I might go for Carrion, actually, I haven’t tried that yet.
