Baccano episode 11 part 1!

I’m really wondering when Isaac, Miria, and the mobsters are actually going to get a drink of the elixir. The party they were all attending seemed like the best place to do so; they could all sit down at one table and pass it around. Now that’s out of the question.
I think Szilard is probably going to die here. Ennis seemingly being free in 1932 and the climactic nature of this confrontation seem to indicate that he’s not walking away from this, and the fact that there are six mortals at the party slated to become immortal speaks to it as well. I guess we’ll never get to see that shot of Szilard dumping the bottles from the opening animation. Oh well.
As for Ladd versus Chane...honestly, I find Ladd to be the most annoying and uninteresting of the characters from the opening, with the exception of Keith and Berga who just haven’t had any screentime to speak of. He just loves listening to himself talk, and I don’t like his voice or longwindedness. I keep wishing he’d shut up and get on with things.
Oh well.
Up next blogwise is going to be the last of this month’s patron picks, A Place Further Than the Universe! We’ll be starting episode 10 on Wednesday. I’m looking forward to that. Streamwise, I’m almost done with Final Fantasy VIII. I’m going to stream more of that in a little bit--all that’s left is the final boss fight, but except for one time when I made it to within one attack of winning, I haven’t gotten close to beating her yet. This stream could take half an hour, or it could take six hours. I don’t know. If it doesn’t take very long, I think I’ll dick around in Dragonball FighterZ, see how I like that game.
