Paranoia Agent episode 11 part 1!

Interesting. Very interesting. Not really Mrs. Ikari’s story--I’m not terribly enjoying her flat monotone, and it frustrates me that we keep cutting to Keiichi not living up to her hype...well, it’s still a good examination of a suicidal woman’s thought process, at least. No, what’s really interesting is the look we’re getting at Li’l Slugger. I think she’s shaping him, or at least shaping his actions. When she’s down on herself, he gets riled up, he grows; when she restabilizes, he can’t do anything but swipe impotently at the air. I don’t think he can touch her unless she loses control.
Very interesting. It makes me wonder about Kowazu, though, whether that was Li’l Slugger or a copycat. It doesn’t seem to have the right timing for him to have been thwacked by a copycat or Tsukiko herself, but he wasn’t really in a place mentally where he should have been thwacked. Or was that Li’l Slugger protecting his creator? Hrm.
Anyways, that’s it for today’s liveblog! Up next is going to be the first half of Baccano episode 11, but that will NOT be tomorrow. Tomorrow’s my birthday! I’m going to be taking it off from liveblogging and having a small cookout with my family. I may stream when I get home, since I do that to relax and get my gaming in, but I won’t be liveblogging Baccano until Monday.
