Well, that was fun! Lots of cute little vignettes. Not much plot-related, but that’s why they’re shorts, isn’t it? They’re just meant to be for fun.

They weren’t just for fun, though. That recurring deer-shaped hole and the busted-down door set something up that wasn’t paid off during the shorts themselves. Teasers for season 2? I’m going to assume so, and color me intrigued. I wonder what it is. Is it something that circumvents the normal rules of the train? How’s it making that hole in things? Is it just walking through the walls? Interesting teaser.

The Movie Theater Car was my favorite short, for that awesome bit of horror. Marvelously creepy and effective setup. The Tech Support Car is a close second, for being so funny and relatable. I liked the shorts overall, though a couple of them were just like “Yeah, okay, stretch out this one gag for two minutes, I get it.”

Up next is going to be episode 1 of Infinity Train Season 2! I’ll be doing that one on Monday! I’m excited to dive into it. We’ll be doing a bunch of those episodes in a row (though it’ll be broken up a few in by next month’s Patron Picks).
