3.04: Journey Part Two (Charlie's Version)_Advanced

Hi!

We are back on the Spring couch picking back up right where we left off. Charlie is sliding deeper and deeper into the darkness until Jane and Julio finally offer him a lifeline. He packs up and heads into a treatment facility. Susan and Geoff are there to help him through it and he comes out the other side feeling better. We get to see the Tao's full video, learn more about Imogen and Sahar, Darcy announces a pronoun change, and Nick is Tori's favorite. PLUS a very special surprise guest joins me for a discussion on this episode. Again, grab those tissues and buckle up! We are talking the second half of Journey!

Thanks again for hanging out over here! xx

ok ok, i was 18 when donnie darko came out, the internet was still pretty young and jake hadn’t mistreated taylor swift yet so we were all in love with him… the movie promo had a website with a big countdown to the release date of the movie with this interesting game to play in the lead up and so therefore my best friend and i were obsessed with the movie before even seeing it. i looooove that tao loves donnie darko so much, that fact is actually how i got my best friend (who now lives many states away from me sadly) to watch heartstopper and his frank costume is so perfect! i leave you with ‘cellar door’

my next thought on this episode, elle’s painting of charlie is the shot of him looking back at nick when they’re leaving school in S1E1 after the altercation with ben!!!!! i love that little homage to where it all began 💜

I am so glad there was no bad news! That is still wild to me. Even with my mothers stage 4 cancer diagnosis, everything was done in the exam room. UNLESS we were seeing the in office therapist. They do take patients into their private offices. But I have never experienced a medical provider allowing patients into their personal offices. But it makes me less annoyed to know that some providers somewhere are seeing patients in their offices lol

so yeah, the only time in my 42 years i’ve ever been in an actual office that wasn’t an exam room at the dr was when i had to have a follow up mammogram last year… they sat me in there after the imaging was done to wait for the doctor and on the desk next to me was a box of tissues. i could have only been there for 3 minutes but it felt like hours (in actuality it was about 12 minutes) because all i could do was stare at the tissues thinking “im about to get bad news”… luckily no bad news was given that day.
