Steven Universe Future episode 15--Mr. Universe!

Ouch. That’s a pedestal broken. Steven is faced with the fact that his dad may not actually know what’s best for him, may have made some selfish choices, may be as responsible for the negative things in his life as Rose was. Well, okay, maybe not as responsible, but he’s up there. And that’s another pillar knocked down. What’s going to happen to Steven? What answer is he going to find? At this point, I have no idea. I do know that the next episode is apparently a “holy shit” episode. And…we’re only five episodes from the end of Steven Universe. For real, this time. What’s going to happen? How is Steven going to find peace? Is he going to find peace? Is the lesson going to be that it’s a day-by-day thing? I don’t know. I also don’t know how that space dinosaur is going to work into things, and I’m almost annoyed that the Steven Needs Therapy arc is going to be interrupted by adventure stuff. What a turnaround, that.
Mr. Universe was important, but it was just kind of solid all around rather than pulling out from the pack. As a result, it comes in at my new #8 for Season Six (between Prickly Pair and Rose Buds), and my new #54 overall (between Too Short to Ride and An Indirect Kiss). Really goes to show the level of quality we’ve gotten from Future so far.
Up next for the liveblog is episode 16 of Steven Universe Future, Fragments! We’ll be starting that on Friday. I’m looking forward to it. Up next for streams is going to be more Nier–I may be doing that tonight, I may be doing it tomorrow, but click here for my Twitch channel where you can watch me live, or click here for the previous stream I’ve done of it. See you for whatever you tune in for next!
