Steven Universe Future episode 9--Little Graduation.

I liked that ending. It’s so rare that we get an episode ending on a downbeat like that--not negative, not dramatic, just...the question. What is he doing with his life? Is he happy? Should he change? Does he need something new, or is he okay with the old? I like that.
The rest of the episode was frustrating, though. I don’t like awkwardness like that, I aggressively don’t like watching someone make a fool of themselves. It had a few good laughs, but it was a frustrating experience overall. And they didn’t use the Off-Colors as anything but set dressing! What a shame.
Little Graduation comes in at my new #7 for Season 6, between Why So Blue? and Bluebird, and my new #124 overall, between The Message and Joy Ride. It’s a shame I didn’t enjoy it more, as it was a very important moment for Steven to go through. Oh well.
Up next is the final as-yet-aired episode of Steven Universe, Prickly Pair! I’ll be doing that on Friday. More immediately, I’m...well, actually, no, it’s kinda late, I don’t think I’ll finish Resident Evil 2 tonight. I think I’ll just chill out for a while, watch some of Brownman’s stream videos, and go to bed. I’ll most likely be finishing Resident Evil 2 on-stream tomorrow once I get back from my friend’s house, where we’re going to be putting together some starter decks for new players we’re hoping will attend an introductory Magic: the Gathering event I’m going to be in charge of at the local library at the start of February. I’ll see you then--and, as always, thanks for tuning in!
