Not gonna lie, that was…I hate to throw around words like “cringey”, but it kinda was, wasn’t it? Such a weird, off-putting way to try to get through to them. I suffered from secondhand embarrassment for like half that episode. I didn’t like it. Kinda felt like I was being laughed at when the Lapises laughed. Didn’t really feel the song that much, either.
Water Goddess Lapis was cool, at least.
Ah, well. They can’t all be winners. Why So Blue? comes in at my new #7 for Season 6, between A Very Special Episode and Bluebird, and my new #140 overall, between Rocknaldo and Laser Light Cannon.
Up next for the liveblog is the next Steven Universe episode–Little Graduation! I’ll be seeing you guys Wednesday for that.
