Infinity Train episode 9--The Past Car!

Wow. That brought me back up alongside Tulip. The Ball Pit Car utterly wrecked me--I actually had a little trouble sleeping for a couple nights because of it--but The Past Car was a nice, gradual incline back up to an even keel for both myself and the main character. Excellently done. It makes me feel better about the preceding episode, as well--now that I know there’s hope for Atticus, I’m not going to lose any more sleep over it.
And, wow. Way to humanize the villain. Good work there, Infinity Train. She’s likable and sympathetic and I care about what happens to her and I’ve barely even met her. How is Tulip going to get through to her? Are they both going to be able to leave the train? In fact, DOES Amelia have her own number? I wonder what it’s at, since she doesn’t seem like she’s dealt with the of the things she’s running from. I’m sure she’s, like, seventy years old by now, too. I wonder what shape we’ll find her in. And if she’s One-One’s “mum”, that solves the mystery of the British accent that nobody actually thought was a mystery and didn’t even really need solving.
All of this to be dealt with in one remaining episode. Is it a double-length episode? I can’t imagine dealing with everything in ten minutes. I guess I’ll see what it is when I get there on Monday.
As I said before, I’ll be doing the final episode of Infinity Train on Monday, so I’ll see you all there for that! In the meantime, tomorrow I may be streaming Fire Emblem: Three Houses, since my lunatic fans decided to buy me a Switch to play it on. I’ll see you there for that as well!
