Once I figured out what was actually going on with the metaphor for the investigation, I really enjoyed this one. It feels weird to say, but I actually wanted to get through the anime action segments as fast as possible, because they just weren’t very interesting compared to all the talking. Weird, right? Sign of a good show, in this case. I’m really looking forward to discovering what Li’l Slugger sends our detectives to find out.
