16th - 22nd October 2023: Weekly True Sidereal Astrology Forecast

Last week on Saturday the 14th (America) we had the Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse in Virgo that brought renewal and purification of our ego and emotions, particularly purging the qualities of ourselves that are too high strung, anxious, critical, perfectionistic, and self-sacrificing at the service of others. Solar Eclipses usually occur 2-4 times in a year but only on a New Moon. As a New Moon represents new beginnings, the Sun crossing over the Moon amplifies this. 

The Solar Eclipse affects each of us personally. Exactly how could be determined by looking to the house in your birth chart that the eclipse was transiting on Saturday the 14th. Here you experience its direct impact as the affairs and issues of that house are subject to disruptive or unexpected forces which may be beyond your control (the Eclipse). Previous activity or achievement in the Eclipse house may be undermined and new plans or efforts are required. 

This week the Sun is Conjunct Mercury and Squaring Pluto. This can bring an intense transformation to the information and thoughts that we identify ourselves with. You may experience a death and rebirth in subjects your are currently studying, in the way that you communicate or even a death in thoughts that you have been overly attached to or identifying with. Pluto in relation to the Sun this week naturally brings renewal to certain aspects of our outer personalities, how we see the world, in order to rebuild as fresh and improved part of ourselves. 

Briefly at the beginning of this week the Moon is Opposite Jupiter. Watch out for letting go of things that you actually need to be happy, solely to please those around you. This transit brings attention to finding emotional balance between our desires for freedom and adventure, and our attachment to our friends, family, and relationships. 

Venus Trine Jupiter continues to bring luck and harmony within our relationships. We are finding a lot of happiness through our loving relationships and have high hopes and optimism about them. However, with Venus still Opposite Saturn, be weary of some lessons about limitations and restrictions that may arise in your on-on-one encounters. As discussed last week, Saturn is currently bring determination into our relationships aiming high for achieving independence, individuality and freedom. 

Finally, Mars in Virgo is Trine Saturn in Aquarius currently which is the best time to begin or continue projects and important work. We have our motivation and action in the organised, busy and practical sign of Virgo, being harmoniously aspected by the committed, serious, high achieving and determined Saturn currently in the brilliant, innovative and intelligent stars of Aquarius. So, I recommend utilising this energy to complete your tasks with Virgo's 100% effort, to put in the committed dedication and to follow your drive to succeed in your current endeavours. 

Overall this week we are experiencing personal and mental transformations and renewals, a balancing of our needs and desires within our relationships and a surge of dedicated and capable energy to accomplish our goals.
