2nd - 8th October 2023: Weekly True Sidereal Astrology Forecast

Venus has entered the stars of Leo for the second time this year. During this transit, the combination of love, beauty and romance with expressive, regal and luxurious Leo is bringing back a focus on our outward beauty and how we appear to the world. Venus in Leo is the kind of "glow-up" energy where you become focused on your looks and appearance because we more-so value high-end, valuable, attractive and expensive items during this time. Leo is the "show-off" energy for a return of attention so any endeavour into improving your appearances currently is more than likely going to be for attention purposes not only in your romantic relationships but also by the public. 

Many planetary bodies are aspecting the Moon, our emotions, this week. Emotionally this week we are desiring more freedom and are very sensitive to anything that may be holding us down or caging us in. We are feeling more adventurous and optimistic about travel and new experiences and are also feeling a need to satisfy our internal philosophical questions about life. This week we are being given the gift of emotional communication. We are finding a harmonious flow between how we feel internally, our needs and desires, with our mind, voice and communication. This is a great time to communicate to your loved ones about how you truly feel about something in particular and to verbally express your needs. This is going to bring a positive alchemical transmutation to our emotional world, transforming lower feelings and emotions into higher, more evolved ones. However, be aware of your emotions in relationships at this time because we are more prone to being emotionally challenged by our friends and partners during this transit. The best advice for this is to find a way to ground your emotions and find more stability so that you avoid any impulsive or aggressive reactions that aren't normal for you. 

Our mind and interest this week is on the run. We are seeking intellectual stimulation and freedom. We are interested in "rebellious" subjects like the kind that aren't mainstream and likely challenge the norm. Our intellect is being gifted this week with brilliance and invention. If you have been planning to come up with a good idea, grab your drawing paper because now is the best time to innovate an ingenious idea! Additionally, at this time our mind is more intense and focused with Mercury Trine Pluto. Communication is empowered there is a natural air of decisiveness. During this transit our mind and willpower work together like a magnet, helping us to manifest what we deeply desire. Our ability to perceive what is beneath the surface is heightened and we can get to the point easily in conversations and while solving problems. We may become intensely or obsessively immersed in new topics of interest, binge reading, absorbing new information as we pursue expertise in new areas. This is also an ideal time for unearthing new or esoteric information that can be life changing and thought provoking.

However, Mercury is currently Opposite Neptune which brings mental confusion, unclearness, and potential problems in communicative interactions with others. Misunderstandings and anxiety in communication are likely and it's important to handle things realistically and focus on tangible evidence and facts. Our logic, rationality and judgement is clouded by the illusory side to imagination and fantasy. The fundamental problem here is mental because our perception of reality may be weakened and clouded due to an inability to filter out the background noise or useless information. 

Continuing on this week we are still dealing with some restriction within our relationships and values with Venus Opposite Saturn. With Saturn in the game of love we are prone to being overly serious and a bit cold in love at this time. To compliment this restriction, we are potentially struggling with limitations of freedom in this arena with Venus Square Uranus. We can find our collective advice by looking to the opposite side of the chart of where the root of this restriction (Saturn) is located which tells us to remember to be playful, cheerful, expressive and romantic (Leo qualities in love). 

Overall, this week the cosmos is putting focus on our emotions and romantic lives so this is where our focus should lie. With the Sun still in perfecting Virgo, I recommend tuning into your heart and doing a bit of "organisation" in this arena to find how you can improve your relationship with yourself and others.
