MINECRAFT CHRISTMAS RAP | "The Ballad of Bob The Snow Golem" | Dan Bull Animated Music Video Remix
Added 2021-12-07 10:39:06 +0000 UTCI had this idea ages ago, that I could make a full animated music video, using an existing completed animation, by narrating the original video with rap lyrics. I'd done similar with the Arch-Illager trailer, and ever since I saw Element Animation's Bob the Snow Golem animation, I knew I wanted to try it with that too.
Well, here is the result! I imported a cool festive instrumental by Anywaywell into my video software and lined it up next to the original animation. As closely as I could, I wrote lyrics that lined up perfectly with the original video. I had to trim it here and there to make the cuts match nicely with the music, but by and large the original video is intact, but with an entirely new soundtrack.
I really like this technique and I'm thinking about trying to apply it to a full cinematic movie or something. Whadya reckon?
