A science fiction thriller of silence, secrets, and what waits in the dark.
For thirty years, Vestan Reach was just another forgotten colony. A corporate enclave buried deep in the Outer Rim, run by drones, sustained by laborers, and ignored by Earth.
Then it went dark.
No signal. No distress call. Just silence.
When an official inquiry arrives from Earth citing an obsolete humanitarian charter no one’s cared about in decades, VantaDyne Corporation is forced to act. But the mission isn’t rescue. It’s containment.
Commander Rook and his team are dispatched to investigate. What they find in orbit is not abandonment. It’s erasure. A silent world guarded by something non-human, something not meant to be found.
As the investigation unravels, political games flare behind closed doors, and a deeper pattern emerges: lost probes, buried reports, and a distant void that seems to swallow everything sent toward it.
Because Vestan Reach didn’t just fail.
It was silenced.
And whatever did it is still out there.

Beyond planetary government, rooted in corporate control and profits, I see this being a very good storyline and the characters are already taking breath in these first encounters. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the telling.

2025-07-31 15:56:04 +0000 UTCThis group Clara, Cynthia, Redford, Milkades and Wyatt gave a lot secerts that share . It seems they have formed their own little family group. The way Ekhinda has bound them together with humor, sadnees, maybe even need and deep emotional ties that bind these 5 together has / is absolutely marvelous story telling that I can't get enough of. Ekhinda demonstrates a mastery of literary kraft.
