The one thing I still wonder about is the "even if they recognize us there nothing the can do to him." What did Jincho do to possibly be recognized?? Ykanti talking right before they reach the Marines guarding the hall.

I agree on many points, but think Jincho's Yikanti friends were concerned for Jincho when asked to speak before the captured Yikanti Soldiers, almost like they worried for his safety as well as his ability to stand up before them as a speaker with some authority. Short of Princess Clara delivering the offer herself, Milkades was a good selection to deliver her message to the liberated Yikanti as a human species speaking with her authority. It also offered a protection for the Yikanti already serving Noirnavio against the Yikanti that might resent or reject them for it. The offer to return those wishing to go back to the hierarchy was a superb political move that supports her statement the prince was striving to peaceful relations with alien nations. Yeah, Wyatt needed a reality check reminder from Clara on the complexity of being a noble. His own Barony is his 1st foray into governing and economics and he is lucky to have the House Astor and the princess as his mentor. His failure would reflect poorly on the Astor House, but for them guiding him to potential success before he moves on to even bigger things. Realizing his training is so important, and the lack of education he got growing up related to this role, he begins to take steps that might give his barony a better chance. Clara details the mission she departed with from her brother remains the same, killing House Caysten support of Duke Draymoe by attack or assignation.

Very nice.will go from a minor house at a major house before the end and be worthy of politically beneficial marriage. And aligned with the royal marines. Very strong house.
