This version of OPrivacy includes more changes than any version I've released in the past year but most of it is related to the way things are processed so you may not notice a big difference, initially.
- Catfighting is gone and so its MCM option is also gone.
--- This was discussed in the main Patreon discord channel and it was concluded that while it is fun, at least the first few times, it isn't worth the extra overhead and time it costs me in development. It has been keeping me from adding more approach voice types and it can lead to approach dialogue bugs.
- OPrivacy now has code to detect when an approaching NPC has been pulled into a Skyrim scene (bard audience, Elisif court arguments, etc.). OPrivacy will break off the approach when this happens because it can cause approach dialogue issues.
--- For this reason, the message, "someone wants to approach" has been changed to "someone might approach."
--- You may see the NPC get up and jog toward you for the approach and then stop and go back to what they are doing. - FemaleSultry voice types can now approach.
- A new, somewhat experimental Privacy Qualifications system has been implemented for FemaleSultry. Depending on feedback, I plan to implement these methods for all voice types in the future. The goal is to make it less easy for certain NPCs to say yes to a Privacy request and this carries over into Approach. Another goal is to provide a reason for you to do some of the game's vanilla quests you might not normally do.
--- FemaleSultry NPCs now completely ignore the Honor Vanille Relations setting in the OPrivacy MCM. I'm going this direction to avoid issues caused by other mods also employing vanilla relationship rank to track relationships.
--- For both Privacy Requests and Approach, the following NPCs have Privacy Qualification rules as follows:
Saadia: You must kill Kematu.
Faralda: You must complete Saarthal.
Senna: You must complete The Heart of Dibella (save the Sybil).
Eola: You must eat Verulus the priest (or achieve the same quest stage in a mod that alters that quest line).
Sybille Stentor: You must kill the vampire coven in the cave for her.
Aia Aria: You must help reconstruct King Olaf's Verse and present it at court (a bard's college quest).
Helga: You must become thane of Riften and complete The Heart of Dibella. I realize this is a lot for a rather bawdy woman but there are multiple quests that should make her hate you and they must be overcome.
Vivienne Onis: You must tell Vivienne's Aunt Angeline what happened to her daughter, Vivienne's cousin.
Sapphire: You must complete Goldenglow.
Sosia Tremellia (miner at Left Hand Mine near Markarth): You must clear Kolskeggr Mine of Forsworn.
Edla (Dragonborn DLC): Convince her son to stay in the Skaal Village.
The above characters will not say yes to a Privacy Request and they will not approach until their associated quests have been completed. FemaleSultry characters that are not listed above will always say yes. For reference purposes, going forward I will refer to these NPCs as "randoms." The bulk of them will be follower mods you downloaded and installed.
