The future of OVoice

I feel like I need to post a reminder here because I'm not sure all of you see or read the announcements I make in discord.  Some days ago, after OVoice was launched, I laid out the plan for its future.  A goal was involved.  If I reached $300 in monthly subscriptions prior to OVoice ending early access and being released to the public, future versions (which means more voice types) would remain a Tier 2 benefit.  If I didn't make the goal, future versions would become a Tier 3 exclusive, never released publicly.

I know this probably bothers some of you but I can assure you, this is not about greed.  It is about each new voice taking about 60 hours to produce.  I don't think it's out of line to ask $10 for something that cost me 60 hours.  I fully understand many of us can't afford an extra five dollars for Tier 3 and frankly, that includes me.  Times are tight for many of us.  Covid greatly harmed my normal income and I'm doing this to help make up the difference.  So, I need to succeed at it.

I love all my patrons no matter the tier and I'm eternally grateful for your donations.  But I'm a man of my word.  If we don't reach $300, OVoice will go T3.  I will continue making things for T2 but OVoice is a consistent time drain.  I have to get what it is worth in terms of time investment.

We are relatively close with some days remaining, but at this time, for every one person that subscribes, another unsubscribes, so we have stopped gaining.  I understand.   You wanted a mod.  You got it, now you're done, maybe you'll return later for other mods.  That's fine.  But at this point, it's not looking like we are going to make it.  So, I opened up voting on the next voice to T3 because it looks like they will be the only users of future versions unless we get a late push.  If anyone is curious, Karliah is running away with it for the next voice.

Whichever way it turns out, know that I genuinely appreciate all you have done for me during my first month on Patreon.  If you leave, we hope to see you again one day, and maybe you'll stick around in the discord just to see how we are doing.  You are always welcome.
