Work in Progress Log #2

First of all, I've finished updating the Compendium. You can preview the changes in a video attached to this post. My main goals in this redesign were:

With that in mind, I've decided to leave the main page almost unchanged, with few exceptions to eliminate anything unimportant. I've completely changed the "Character" page - now it's structured to "parts" - zones that will only display all the aspects of the selected part and nothing unnecessary.

Additionally, with adding new, all old features became more accessible, e.g., a much bigger "Item Selection" screen, the ability to unlock vigors directly in the Compendium, and many more!


At the start of this update, I simply wanted to change the Attribute System a bit, but when I started implementing that, I realized I could add more content. This way, "Skill Points", "Infinite Points" and "Preferences" were added additionally to "Attribute Abilities". Let me quickly explain about those.

If this sounds too complex - don't worry. I've tried to split all new content across all "game phases"; that way, all the players, no matter whether starting a new game, playing from mid-completion, or continuing from a save file with a completed game, will benefit from this update.


Since the Character Poll ended this week and I've finished working on everything else, I've started adding characters to the game, including drawing animations and icons & adding an item for a Legendary girl.

After adding them to the game, all that is left to do is some polishing, and after that, I'll release the next version.
