Great video, question though. In this video you say "~We will later explore the separate problems that Mark Antony had to deal with.~" Does that video exist already? Thank you very much, keep up the great work!

Yeah, I started off like this about a year ago... at that time the last video was the Assassination of Caesar... sadly, I had to grow used to far less frequent updates xD But you can start reading the source material he is listing under the videos. I actually did that and I am soooo hooked on those as well :D

I've just watched your whole channel catalog over again and I need the Antony video. I desperately need it.

That whole 20 year period between 63 BC and 42 BC is just filled with great men, Cicero, Cato, Crassus, Pompey, Caesar, Clodius, Milo, Brutus, Lepidus, Cassius Labenius etc - I would probably say that period of time is one of the most extraordinary in terms of the qualities, achievements and capabilities of the individual man and it's not really something we see or have as well documented until probably the 18th century.

i saw that skrillex documentarytoo

You know im not really a fan of the "great man" theory of history. Buck fuck if Julius Caesar isnt a good example of it, especially when you compare him to the people that followed in his wake.

He is sort of a dick. I remember listening to the Emperors of Rome podcast and one of the professors that really studied the era had a sort of visceral negative reaction to the guy. I am definitely starting to get it.

F*ck Augustus. All my homies hate Augustus

Honestly the more I learn about him the more I find Augustus to be just a very shitty person
