I think the song actually hit the hardest this time with the quote "If a man of Caesar's genius...". Sure, Caesar's genius was kind of the reason it all spiralled out of control like this, but the quote is still profoundly striking. I'm somewhat torn between totally admiring Caesar (his charisma still has a strong pull even after two millenia) and despising the way he destroyed politics.
